  1. For those interested in which schools made his Top 10: Alabama, Arkansas, Boston College, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio St, Oregon, Rutgers, Stanford, Vanderbilt Very interesting Top 10, seems a little inconsistent. I wonder how he picked them? Not academics (that's BC, Rutgers, Stanford, Vanderbilt only), strong running teams (that's Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio St, Stanford only), SEC (that's Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Vanderbilt only), or proximity to home (that's Rutgers and BC only). My bet = blindfold + darts + map.

  3. Said he will be trimming his list to a Top 5, and Vols will be 'very high' on his list. He quoted the way Tenn wants to play him (both as a blocker and receiver) and early playing time (his quote, "It really makes me feel good. You don't have to come in behind all those good guys and wait your turn you can come in and compete right away so that's reassuring"). We are limited on tight ends (at least experienced TE with Cotton and Reed gone) and the blocking/receiving TE is prototypical for N football. So, if these criteria are high for him, I could foresee N breaking into his Top 5 as well.
  4. Did he leave? Bo had a good time. Said we are even with NC State right now. Ole Miss next weekend, then he wants to see an NC State practice. Wants to decide end of spring. Wonder if Bo got one of those "personalized" letters from Coach Hughes? "What up, BIG TIME?!!"
  5. Top criteria for his choice: (1) academics, (2) a "home environment", and (3) early playing time. Not worried about the first two, but Bo is reported to not make promises. I think there is need at the secondary, so Reavis could see the field early, if he proves himself.
  6. http://instagram.com/p/XgHvkSqtCt/ This picture has Vols community blowing up with rumors. But, I don't think there is much to it.
  7. Are you thinking David Humm but with the ability to tuck it and run?
  8. Said he wanted to commit this summer. = 247Sports subscriber. What's your point? Probably that rivals and 247 have conflicting reports Good point. My bet, probably before NSD. : )
  9. Did he leave? Bo had a good time. Said we are even with NC State right now. Ole Miss next weekend, then he wants to see an NC State practice. Wants to decide end of spring. Banned... Someone shoot me a PM and tell me why? I'm beaming with joy Why is this being discussed on a recruit's thread?
  10. Nelson is also being recruited for Division I Basketball. Rivals. But, he has already said he wants to play college football.
  11. Player: Matt Nelson Hometown: Cedar Rapids, IA School: Xavier Position: Tight End/Defensive End Height: 6'8" Weight: 245lbs 40 time: 4.9 sec Offers: Iowa, Iowa St., Nebraska, Northern Colorado, Rice, San Diego St., South Dakota St., Stanford, Yale 247: :star Rivals: :star Scout: :star ESPN: Highlights
  12. Also has plans to visit Temple, Duke, Ohio State, North Carolina State, and Boston College in the coming months.
  13. Has been high on Florida, USC and Oregon for a while. None have offered yet, but expect them to make a big impact on his recruiting if they do. Hope Coach TJ can make a play for this kid, great instincts and physical.
  14. Keith Niebuhr ‏@Niebuhr247 RT @c_reavis11: #Oklahoma just offered //// DB C.J. Reavis of Virginia --> http://ow.ly/jreap #Sooners
  15. I'm encouraged to see Oregon in his early top five list, as this demonstrates his willingness to look outside of southern conferences (ACC and SEC). He just received his offer from Nebraska, so we will have to what to see how much of an impact the coaches can have on his decision.
  16. Admits it is early in recruiting (meaning things could change), but Allen currently has UNC leading and four other programs in his top five, including FSU, Georgia, Tennessee, and Oregon (INPO).
  17. Yes, but he does not hold a Nebraska offer, yet. So, why does he have a recruit page? I like the kid's speed, but maybe his page should be moved until an offer comes.
  18. Back to JUCO DE Tui Talia (Washington Commit). Rivals has this kid with a Nebraska offer (http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Tui-Talia-145980), but I can not find an offer confirmation anywhere else. Anyone know if his holds a Nebraska offer?

As I'm sure you have noticed, no offer showing on Scout.

  19. So he pruned his list from 7 to 6 (dropping South Carolina)? Still looking for a visit.
  20. Calls Nebraska his "strongest" offer and likes the D's physicality (source: Mike Schaefer).
  21. As someone who does not live there I am going to guess 403, 405, and 407. Yay math! Well played, sir. Well played, indeed. You earned that +1.
  22. Chance Sorrell will not coming for the spring game, but will be in Lincoln on Weds. Bryan Munson @BigRedBryan Chance Sorrell doesn't have an offer yet from #Nebraska but will be in Lincoln on Weds. nebraska.scout.com/2/1277228.html #Huskers #GBR
