  1. from huskerextra: "arrested on charges of 1st degree burglary & sexual abuse after a recruiting visit in january at the University of Oregon" p.s. I think that his schollie has a good chance of being revoked - what say you?
  2. hello, well next up is the b12 tourney, where NU will be a 4th seed - one who has lost 8 out of their last 10 b12 games (w/ today's loss to ou - 6 to 2) p.s. my mighty prediction is NU will sweep their way through for a back-to-back b12 tourney championship
  3. hello, the bats have finally awaken...it seems to be about 10 games ago, that NU scored over 4 runs p.s. good win NU, & let's win this 3 game series, tomorrow...go dorn!
  4. NU loses 3 to 2 (NU has now lost 6 out of their last 7 b12 games!) tonight, there were few moments of emotion from either the team, or the fans p.s. NU seems to be now playing more so not to lose, than playing to win - just to much timidness & tightness through out the lineup
  5. hello, NU wins 4 to 1, & sweep crei on the yr...brown hit a hr, & he continues his hot hitting, & NU pitchers pitched an 8 hitter p.s. I have a feeling (or at least I am hoping) that NU is going to finish their regular season strong
  6. hello, this committment sounds like a good one to me: 6'1", 190 db w/ 4.40 speed (reincarnate of z bowman?): http://nebraska.scout.com/2/531151.html p.s. west's coach said that west can do it all - he plays offensive, & defensive, & even punts...wow!
  7. hello, baylor 12 & NU 2 baylor is going to win this game in the 7th w/ the mercy rule in effect...wow, who would have thought that this would be how NU would respond to bu, today, after being down 2 game to none! p.s. MERCY!!!
  8. hello, NU is sounding horr-if-ic, today...in the 7th they are down 9 to 2 to baylor...yet, through 6 innings NU mustered 2 hits, & then gathered 4 hits in the 7th for their 2 runs 1 win out of their last 7 games...eh, gawd!!!
  9. hello, I love NU's chances against his other top 2 schools of c fl & nc st, plus NU gets his 1st visit in the fall - where I know those 2 schools (in particular), & so many more cannot complete against NU's gameday experience p.s. bring on that big screen!
  10. hello, here is something else to ponder over - maric has tossed his hat into the nba arena (as a feeler, & w/o an agent): http://www.draftexpress.com/dedaily.php?p=653
  11. hello, here is a nice story by scout on preferred walk on patrick kitzul, wr, austin, tx: http://nebraska.scout.com/2/523421.html & here is his rivals database info: http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewp...sp?pr_key=45731
  12. hello, coyles from rivals has bullocks to be taken at 44, & smith at 88 for his top 100 nfl prospects rankings: http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewp...sp?pr_key=49336 p.s. adams is also listed in rivals top 25 dt prospects at 22 (w/ ngata as the 1st choice at dt - remember him, & his announcement at the army all-amer game of playing for NU?): http://nfldraft.rivals.com/content.asp?SID...1164&CID=533822
  13. hello, according to hi, m williams is scheduled to attend NU's 1st game vs. nich st: http://nebraska.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=537274 out of his 14 schollie offers, NU seems to be the most attractive: http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewp...sp?pr_key=49336
  14. hello, x rucker has made his decision - & it is to walk on at NU: http://nebraska.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=537180 p.s. NU has strung together some athletic kids w/ this yr's preferred walk on group
  15. hello, according to rivals database - he has given ia st his verbal: http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/result.asp he wants a honest shot at playing qb, & ia st gives him that - while at NU his chances of playing qb would be a maybe
  16. hello, NU evens the series at a game a piece - just like last yr - & today they took a 7 to 5 win, w/ 6 of NU's 7 runs coming in the 6th NU totaled only 8 hits - yet every hit was quite important way to go NU, & please repeat tomorrow
  17. hello, scout as a teaser on washington, & his possible verbal sooner than later to his top school: http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&c=522...2%2f522289.html p.s. I think that l washington will verbal to NU as a safety, because of his size, athleticism, & because of NU's great need for safeties, & a great chance of early playing time at the s position, plus f washington can give great insight of the db position at NU, & what the coaches need from their db's in technique, schemes, ect...
  18. hello, chris leflore walked on to NU w/ very similar size & speed out of hs, & has helped to push other players at his position, & has steadily improved each yr if he develops into another c leflore that would be great...& if he becomes better than NU will have a good find
  19. hello, w/ chad roark wearing the NU hat - that alone makes this rumor even the more enjoyable but, I just do not understand why there was not much interest last yr - since NU had two + yrs of film on this guy from when his brother was being recruited, & from his own senior yr film, & still he was not offered, & also NU had time last yr since he showed good interest early on NU in the summer, & then was quite uncertain of his choice of school throughout his recruitment from fsu & ou yet, if he does show up at NU come this fall I think all will be happy - especially if henry (& maybe other hs recruits do not make it here, because of test scores) the last major transfer from one b12 school to another was luke axtell - from tx to ks - in basketball, & he only sat out 1 yr NU had a player switch from them to another b12 school (ks) in michael keenan - '94 lb recruit, from kc - but, he was since quit fb - I believe p.s. big willie, I thought that it was roark who did not perform well at NU's camp last yr - so, I guess I was wrong, right...but, I know that some hot prospect was deflated last yr at camp - I just cannot remember who - maybe it was hoey from wi - but, any way sorry about the bad info
  20. hello, it seems as if NU has gotten another hs punter to walk-on at NU, along w/ henery such, from allen, tx (here is his profile from rivals - sorry, not much there): http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewp...sp?pr_key=36566
  21. hello, ok this maybe too simple for me to understand, but all I have to do to get into the the huskerboard party at the alley is state who I am by saying my screen name, right?...or do I have to say my screen name plus my password, because I have no idea what my password is...plus, I would like to know, up front, if there is any 1st-timer hazing for newer members, like myself?
  22. hello, blake lawrence, ilb, who came to lincoln for jr day is coming to lincoln again for the spring game: http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&c=520...2%2f520282.html
  23. hello kc, I will be wearing white, yet the six people that will be coming to the game w/ me are wearing red, so I believe that you & me are going to be out #-ed in the color ratio department p.s. yet, us wearing white might help us spot each other at the game
  24. hello, if chad roark is transferring to NU then his coming would be welcomed by me...since, he started for ou in their spring game at center, & was chosen for the army all-amer game in san antonio this last fall, & this would reunite the two roark brothers who last summer hoped to play div I as teammates... but, as far as NU is considered are they now willing to give a schollie to a kid who they did not consider worthy last yr, & whose performance at NU's summer camp was fair-to-ok (I mean did not cole bunner, who was asked to walk on at NU, out perform roark) what say you?
  25. hello, NU wins...5 to 4...& again NU let a good lead slip late in the game NU was up 5 to 1 w/ 2 outs in the 8th, & then they sweated out their last 4 outs before winning jensen has been shaky in his last couple of appearances, yet still record a save p.s. NU rises to 26-5, & childress slips to 19-18
