I thought I had read somewhere that Shawn Watson and Ted Gilmore had interviewed for the HC job. I can't remember for sure where I read that. They could be two more to add to that list.

Who else has noticed how many times the announcers have questioned the coaching staff. As a fan, I always do that, but should the announcers be doing it on the radio.

Gotta say: as a Husker/Packer fan, I love this pick. He will fit in the offense and be able to run the tough yards that the Packers need. I have been calling this pick since this morning. I thought it would be a third round pick, but after Dwayne Jarrett was off the board in round two, the Pack traded down in the second round. I love that I can cheer for BJax on Sundays!!!

Hey, at least we're not talking about something serious and trying to defend him. This is something minor that won't matter when he torches the competition's dbacks this season.

Personally, I thought Dillard looked like he was going to make some plays on D last year until he tore his ACL. Hopefully his recovery is going well!

Maybe BC is our Ron Zook. But if he is, then you cannot compare him to Urban Meyer. Florida had way more talent when Meyer got there than NU had when BC got here. Sorry, just my opinion, but I don't think they are comparable.

Please, Don't even compare Meyer with BC. Ron Zook had a top 5 recruiting class almost every year he was there. That's what Meyer had to work with. BC had to work with a lot, lot less than Meyer. The two situations are not even comparable in any respect.

I started a thread about the Fiesta Bowl but it was taken off, or I just didn't do it right. BSU looks good. I didn't think they had a chance, but they're throwing punches and not backing down. Should be an interesting second half. Too bad the Big 12 is sucking in bowls.

21-10 Boise State at half. I didn't expect this to be much of a game. Maybe Stoops can rally the troops in the second half. The Broncos sure are fun to watch, though. Big 12 is not doing well in the bowl games, 3-4 with OU down big at half. OUCH.

My husband is a huge Husker fan. I claim to be one by marriage. Every Saturday our entire family wears the red and white with pride. After today's game, I read a few posts with my husband. Its just a comfort to know that some of you act the same way (yell, scream at the TV or radio, or even turn the game off) during games as my husband and he's not just an overly obsessive fan. You all should get together and have a party on "Husker Saturdays". I think you'd all have a great time! Go Big Red!
