I would love for all Nebraska fans to congregate in Lincoln and protest outside of the administration's office. Or can we get a petition or social media campaign going? Fans are not just tired of Riley, but all the crap we've dealt with during the Callahan and Pelini years.

When was the last time Nebraska won 4 or fewer games in a season?

To show if apathy has set in on this board, is there a way to compare how many are on posting for this game compared to prior games?

Pelini needed to go too. I supported getting rid of him, but not this hire.

The fact that the coaches put Davie back in after he was so bad early shows they have horrible judgment. Ozigbo does well every time he touches the ball, and yet hardly gets to play. It's terrible.

It looks like Purdue's OC is trying to pull a Langsdorf with all these throws in the 4th quarter with a huge lead.

While that is the only realistic possibility, it's a bunch of crap. QB is one component of dozens upon dozens of a team, and literally none (I believe) are working right now. This has very little to do with QB, and thus there is very little PoB could ever do. Say what people want about giving coaches more than one year, but we really need to let Riley go. Pay three coaches if you can, this is unacceptable. I'm not saying our QB is our only issue...we have many. I'm just saying NU hasn't had a true QB recruit like POB in years, so if we would have a new staff, at least we could have a good QB as well.

Riley might as well end the sellout streak this season...he's on the bad side of about every other streak.

The reality is, we may be losing by more with Tommy in the game. Fyfe has made 2 dumb throws, but Tommy makes many each game too.

I have to say that, if we weren't playing undefeated top 10 teams, i think there would be many empty seats at the final two home games. Just pathetic

Big difference.....Purdue is the much more talented team out there. Disagree, we have the talent. Our kids are still a 9 win squad. I honestly think the talent level decline was already showing last season...we ended the year 1-3 and won a few close ones rather than lost those. I think without the change in offensive and defensive schemes, Pelini would have ended up at 7-5 this year or 6-6.

Just logging in and first half assessment is that our O-line is a problem. They accounted for the first turnover with the bad snap, contributed to the 2nd by providing no pass protection, and they are not blocking for the run at all. I don't know if its a lack of talent or coaching or both, but it's bad. Fyfe is playing well overall, we just need more balance with the run game to get into a rhythm, but from what I've seen in the first half he's played better than Tommy has in most games this season.

I agree...what is there to lose at this point. What I don't understand is that, for the offense Riley is insisting that we run, with mainly short and intermediate throws, accuracy trumps arm strength and running ability, and from what I've seen, Darlington appears to be the most accurate, but his big knock is a lack of arm strength. Armstrong has been too inconsistent for too long across multiple coaching staffs to deserve to start again. I don't care if he comes out and puts up 5 TD against Purdue, his history has been one of extreme inconsistency. We have Eli Manning's QB coach to help with technique and footwork, and it looked good for the first 2 or 3 games, but TA has regressed back to his 2014 self.

Is there a petition that fans can sign if they would like a change in leadership starting with the AD? Simply venting on these message boards doesn't seem to be enough to show just how frustrated NU fans have been for so many years.

Is a new chancellor's first priority really going to be to fire/hire a new AD and football coach? ​ No! Not saying it would happen on July 1, or before the 2016 season, but I think if the new chancellor understand the importance of football to the entire University of Nebraska (not just the athletic dept), he (or she) will have a plan in place for a replacement if 2016 execution looks just as pathetic as it has for 2015.

June 30, 2016....mark that date down when Perlman finally retires. I'm not sure who his replacement will be, but one would hope he won't take long to get rid of Eichorst and start making the right moves.
