Newby is horrible. If that's our best RB we are in trouble. Get Wilbon in there. Hell, put in Divine.

We need to run TA more and create confusion to open up the passing game. Just handing off to Newby isn't doing it.

Armstrong and Westy the only guys playing today. No way TA makes that throw last year. His form looks great.

Umm...when we need them, the receivers are sucking it up big time. I can see one dropped pass, but we've had 3 or 4 in one half.

Wow Newby is horrible. He slowed down and allowed the defenders to get to him. I get why Bo made AA the guy last year in hopes of getting a Heisman candidate, but in the process, we have no bench for this year.

The worst thing our offense could do right now is turn the ball over. They need a long sustained drive ending with a TD.

Yes, it was the 2009 team when we lead the nation in scoring defense. Unfortunately that year we had one of the worst offenses around.

I agree but what makes you think that will happen. We make a good play or two, then have a penalty or play for a loss, and are suddenly 3rd and long.

Going into this season we kept hearing that our D-line was supposed to be the strength of the entire team, and in 3 games, they have struggled to put any pressure on the QB. It's going to be a long season if we just allow QB's all the time in the world to pick apart our inferior secondary.

Way too many 3rd and longs again just like against BYU. That has to stop.

Our running game just isn't getting it done. Not sure if its the running plays, the O-line, the RB, or a combination of all 3.

That it is. Bo didn't leave much for the new staff. Recruting is everything. Bo's best team was 2009 which was based upon the great recruiting class of 2005.

Could we not have declined that penalty and made it 3rd and 5 or 6?

As bad as our D has been playing, Miami's QB has been spot on even when there has been tight coverage. The only way to slow that down is to sack him a few times and force him to rush his throws.
