Interesting. Sucks for BB, b/c it sounds as if it wasnt a performance issue but more based on superficial pretenses, a la Solich. Thanks to Brian Bailey for everything you did for the program over the past 18 yrs, b/c you dont stick around somewhere for that long and not contribute a great deal. Its a shame to see all of these historic lineages severed like this. Seems as if Turner is one of the only remaining Buffalo Soldiers from heyday. I still say SP is trying way too hard to completely cleanse something that wasnt exactly dirty, and am afraid that this may take longer than we think to get this locomotive moving again in the other direction. Hell we havent even come to a complete and screaching halt yet for that matter. So please continue to keep your hands and ass inside STEVE's Big Red Machine, as you may be at risk of losing one or all of the above. Im not a huge anit-Steve guy, but I really think this is somewhat related to his ego and his desire to put his "fingerprint" or handprint for that matter all over the program. shirt

I like the sound of it. Even if he did just use the "boilerplate" statement that came with his "college starter package" for this particular incident, it sounds good and that means a lot. Sweet. Hopefully this stabilizes the unstable mood of our sickly talented secondary. This is a great mentality and he sounds like the type of guy who our kids can really respect due to his tenure, and embrace b/c of his energy to win.

Well thanks to everyone for the great feedback. We really appreciate your opinions. I really think we have some great members for as small of a board as it is currently. With your help we'll get this thing rolling and be bigger and better than ever before we know it. So please spread the word to others who would be good contributors and have an opinion on Husker football (I dont know who doesnt ) As you may have noticed, we implemented some changes based on your advice. Hopefully these are changes for the better. Just so you know, we have a lot of enhancements planned for the board in the near future, just need to find the time to do it, which is hard to come by with a full time job, on the side of course. Good for you guys Nizz. Yeh Im trying to think of the things I wouldnt do for 3 M/yr, b/c the things I WOULD do are too vast. Im still trying to come up with one.. The college game is gettin closer and closer to the NFL in every way. Its kinda funny that Callahan is making more money now than he did as a HC in the NFL. I know AliceDavis is a tightwad, but still. And then that brings up the whole debate that college sports are becoming too commercial and are losing their innocence with all the money thats floating around these days, blah blah blah. b/c you know what, if it wasnt floating legally it'd be circulating ILLegally. money is like water. it creates its own shape and goes wherever space is. So hows that baseball team lookin Nizz? you follow hardball at all? hopefully we'll see you guys in Omaha this summer.
