I thought the run defense was excellent today, especially at crashing down on the ends and closing speed was the difference. talk all day about passing defense but our run defense always sets the tone.

This has got to stop. These two coaching situations are mutually exclusive. I am unsure what is right for this program at this moment, but fear of 2003 is not influencing my way of thinking and I pray to God it isn't Eichorst. I also really wish we'd fired Osborne back in the 80s when he just couldn't get it done. Think of how great our team could have been without him. You guys clamoring to replace Bo are what's crazy. Again, it doesn't matter. Head down and out in front, helmet to helmet contact (in this case helmet to the bottom of the facemask). It doesn't matter what the offensive player does in that case. If helmet to helmet contact is made, it's an ejection. Edit - Meaning, as I said before, if his head is up, the ejection is reversed. This rule still SUCKS!! then what about the hit by clowney on michigans running back last year! It was flat out a great hit but you don't think his helmet came off because he hit him with his shoulder pads!
