  1. This guy blew up his senior year and has gotten some very good offers because of it. Don't let that 2* rating scare you, this kid could be a good one with some coaching and weight training.
  2. Rivals now lists Ross as a "solid verbal" instead of a "soft verbal" FWIW
  3. Thought I heard he might have some real trouble qualifing. Has anything heard anymore about that? Perhaps I heard wrong.
  4. If we get Patin because of all this, it will truly be a blessing in disguise. No offense to Jared and I wish him the best, but I'll take Patin any day of the week.
  5. Judging by post titles on RSS, it seems that things went well on the visit. It seems as though Quentin is 100% N! (again)
  6. Bowman struggled early because of a bad hammy, not due to lack of ability. Jones was forced into starting because of the Bowman injury, he probably would have backed up Grixby (at least to begin with) until he learned and got more comfortable. Assuming Bowman stays, Murillo will have no pressure on him to start from day one. He will also benefit from being here for Spring ball, something that would have surely helped Jones. A secondary of Bowman Jones/Murillo with Grix in the nickel sounds really good to me.
  7. I need 3 club level or lower seats in the worst way! If anyone knows where I could find some please let me know. micropaceman@hotmail.com
  8. Unless staying close to home is a real priority for him, he is a Huskers IMO.
  9. Chandler commited to K-State out of high school, so this isn't much of a surprise. Also, it isn't a slam dunk that he will qualify this time around, so I guess we'll see if he ever ends up in purple.
  10. He's being recruited by our staff as an "athlete." Don't be surprised if he is given a shot at DB to start out with.
  11. I'm looking for 2 tickets to the Big 12 Championship. I've already got 3, but just found out we have 2 more than want to go. I know there are still a few left on ticketmaster, but was hoping someone had a couple extra that were a little better that they were looking to get rid of. Not really looking to pay much over face, please let me know. either drop me a pm or e-mail me at micropaceman@hotmail.com Thanks
  12. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! This staff does it again, what an outstanding recruit. To steal him from the Sooners makes it even more sweet. Welcome Travis!
  13. Probably thinks he can start right away.
  14. Actually Lee is here for 3 years.....3 years to play 4. He's really going to have to get after it to play 4 season in 3 years Lee has 4 years to play 3, which means he will more than likely redshirt next season and then have 3 years of eligibility. This differs from Hilldebrand who came in this year with 3 years to play 3, which means even though he probably won't play this year, it still counts towards eligibility. This is how thing will stack up (assuming Keller starts next year and we don't have to burn redshirts) 2007 Keller (senior) Ganz (Junior) Davis (senior) Hilldebrand (junior) Lee (sophomore - but redshirting) Witt (freshman) 2008 Ganz (senior) Hilldebrand (senior) Lee (RS Sophomore) Witt (RS Freshman) Anyone else we bring in
  15. Um, so far 8 of our 14 commits are defensive players and Helu could play defense. I would say that qualifes as "knowing enough" to save some for defense.
  16. You are a f*cking tool. Get a life. :asshat
  17. I think you may be underesimating how much of a difference it makes in Texas football to have some talent around you. I've heard that Witt plays in arguably the toughest district in Texas, that means there are some REALLY good teams he going against. Witt's teams just moved up to this level this year. Look at it this way (not a great analagy, but kinda close) Pretty much everyone would agree that Peyton Manning is the best QB in the NFL. He played on a pretty good team and has quite a bit of talent around him. Now, put Peyton on the Raiders, do you really think he would have as good a year as he does with the Colts? I don't think so. The Raiders have no o-line and other than Randy Moss (and maybe LaMont Jordan) not a whole lot of talent. My guess (again, I haven't seen any of Witt's games) is that his o-line does get pretty much dominated when they go against some of the better teams in the state. If you are under constant pressure and don't have playmakers on your team in the first place, it's going to be hard to win games, let alone put up big stats. I trust that our coaches know what to look for in a QB, he was also recruited by some other coaches that know QB's (Leach, Spurier, etc) And the best part is he will be here in January and won't even have to compete for the starting job until he has a year and a half of learning the system under his belt. JMO Go Big Red!
  18. MOVED TO OFFENDING POSTS THREAD FOR VIOLATION OF BOARD RULES AGAINST PERSONAL ATTACKS.
  19. Bill Snyder.....enjoying retirement.
  20. More evidence that you should not allow your children to stay at Michael Jackson's "Neverland Ranch"
