  1. Yea that was a tough pill to swallow even though I was too young to see how devastating that was at the time. It stings more now than it did then
  2. You may now watch the jags until their mediocrity kills you off
  3. I just think, with our without Murray, its going to be a good game, and to write of Nebraska either way is just senseless. This is going to be a dogfight. If our defense can play like they have been in these last 5 games, and our offense can at least hold onto the ball, we will have a ball game. It just all comes down to Tim Beck (OC), and how he calls the game. Keep the ball on the ground, hit the edges and make Georgia's defense spread out, Ameer could do damage. Our biggest problem is going to be stopping Gurley. That has been our issue these past few games, is stopping a power back. We limited Weisman to 75 yards, which was a shocker, but Zach Zwinak and Jeremy Langford got us pretty good. Either way, this game can easily go either way. I tend to agree, I like our chances and all cause I am biased but the spread in my opinion doesn't do the game justice. It's gonna be a battle and Nebraska has the motivation to avenge last year. Hope Richt can get the boys ready. I am tired of starting flat and having to rely on comebacks like our past few games. I can admit that if you have to come back against Nebraska that will be rather difficult. We may have a lot of close games, but when it comes to coming from behind only one team has been able to do so. ....dammit. There goes the game plan
  4. No kidding. But sure was sweet beating Pitt in the snow after beating them a few weeks before!
  5. Oh, and South Carolina fans are annoying because they're not really used to the whole "winning" thing
  6. Ahhh the good ol' days. Hell, I miss Garrard. 2007 was my favorite season of NFL ever. CATCH THE DAMN BALL NORTHCUTT. Stupid Pats...

  8. Thanks you Dawgs fan! If we can agree on anything it's that we need Teddy. Now that AJ has a torn ACL there is no debate on who we should pick up. The only problem is that we may have won too many games on our way there. Give it time, no more Browns and Texans left on the schedule. And then it's TEDDY TIME! Please don't be like blaine gabbert, please don't be like blaine gabbert, PLEASE DON'T BE THE NEXT BLAINE GABBERT When we moved up in that draft I screamed for a solid minute. I was at a bunch of girls place which had become an impromptu draft party and they were not impressed. Since then I have been all for the failure of Jacksonville to get better draft picks. Blaine has been thee worst thing to happen to Jacksonville EVER! He's just awful. I flipped then too but I had one friend who scolded me publicly that Gabbert was a great pick. So much for that. I actually got to work their one summer and the dude is the biggest prick. Makes it that much worse.
  9. Your sentence bolded reminds me exactly of a player we have... Taylor. Someone who wasn't appreciated enough by majority of the fan base. A healthy Taylor, we beat MSU, Minnesota and possibly Iowa, in my opinion. He is out with two fractured toes (two next to his big toe). Something was stated before the Iowa game that he could be ready by a bowl game. Bo stated yesterday that it was too early to tell. If he was healthy and ready to go now, Bo would be saying the same thing, so its a "wait until a couple days before the game" type of thing. I am hoping he is back, but most likely it will be our RS Freshman, Tommy Armstrong. Kid plays the option VERY well, but has been known to be a turnover machine. Yea, I am one of those irrational fans but most of our fans worship Murray. And for good reason, he's been a damn good dawg. A lot of his mistakes are on him but a lot were on a lack of run game and zero OL. But hmmm, that scares me about Martinez. Gonna make Grantham game plan for 2 styles of play. Dude has enough trouble game planning one guy. Either way both guys are gonna get their yards and UGA is gonna have to rely on the offense again. I've seen Armstrong play and he's definitely a talent, I figure he'll settle in! If you guys still had Murray we would have no chance at this bowl game...just saying. Yep, because we had no chance last year? IIRC, it was neck and neck all the way until Ameer fumbled. ALSO, Georgia had MUCH more talent on both sides of the ball last year than they do this year. Offensively we started off better than 2012. Defensively we are playing HSers. Not even an insult, our defense is littered with freshman. Post injuries it's definitely tougher. I'm convinced the first team to 40+ wins And that's not an indictment of my thoughts on your defense, it's just how we have played all year

We probably wouldn't have had to come back from 20 points down to the trade school in Atlanta either. It's definitely gonna be tougher but Mason isn't half bad. And like I said, we need him to get more experience before 2014 starts up with Clemson at home. Gotta get ready for our 2014 title run by god

  12. I have a good buddy who is a HUGE LSU fan, and this is the same thing we have spoken about many times lol. I actually picked AU to win that game. Won too obviously. The thing about Saban, he is a system coach. He always has stellar assistants, and they simply don't get enough credit when they do win. Kirby Smart was actually one person I wanted here if Bo was to be fired. If we were to get a HC with no experience, I wanted him. Saban lost because he had his mind on the Texas job... Lol, sorry that is a new one to me and I just can't stop laughing. Oh well if any fan base is following this saga and loving it it's the LSU guys. They're the ones going nuts with the rumormill on our coaching search board. And not gonna lie, the iron bowl surprised me. I just saw UGA go crazy vs them in the 4th and then us lose on a mindumbingly awful Hail Mary on 4th and Grantham and thought that Bama had it. Sadly I missed the game cause I was at the UGA/GT game and after I called my dad and heard him go nuts when it happend while we were still on the phone. He's kind of an AU and UGA guy cause my sisters made the mistake of going to the plains and he watched it with my Bama uncle. Boy was that house awkward when I got back. And Kirby is a good coach. And a UGA guy, so obviously he's the tits. That said, he did burn bridges in Athens when, by UGA accounts, he accepted our DC job only to use us as leverage to get a raise. But many Dawg fans pegged him still as our heir apparent if Richt decided to retire which isn't gonna happen now. They have some good assistants and McElwain I hear is doing pretty good at CSU. He has a nice tree going. Rumor has it, on the board at our site, that Kirby is now the Bama HCIW. And laugh away pal, we sure as hell are
  13. Hahaha. I guess it's nice to have a win streak for once. Too bad we can't play the Texans 16x a year. And I am SOOOO glad you said Teddy. I have wanted him all year but some of my moronic friends say I am nuts and think we should get Johnny Football or McCarron. Some even said Mettenberger. I mean, come on guys. GIVE ME TEDDY OR GIVE ME....another jags season

  15. As one of the 15 Jags fans I resent that comment 3 game win streak, super bowl here we come My best friend is a hardcore Jag fan too. Now we just need to find the other 13 of them... One is here to represent! Are we picking first yet? And someone needs to tell them to stop winning, we are conceding it to the daggum Falcons That said I wouldn't put it past them to draft a kicker with the #1 overall. But hey, Gene Smith is gone so who knows! Oh crap, Blackmon is drunk again
