Ask youreself this, what if Jim Tressel wasn't actually concerned with the goings on of Husker Nation? Oh, come on. His agent responded to the rumors a day or so ago and Tressel's twitter account is being bombarded with Husker fans asking when he's going to announce he's our new coach. At the very least, you think he'd find it annoying if there was no truth to it. Pretty much the only thing that's left is for Husker fans to congregate on his front lawn. Road trip!

This. I liked Bo. He phoenixed this program from asshat Callahan. He recruited some great talent. But he couldn't take it to the next level. For anyone that says he needed more time, how many more years do you give him? I didn't want us to become Iowa where we keep signing our 'just enough' coach to forty year contract extensions. I liked Bo, but I feel this was more of a mutual breakup. I'm ready to move in a new direction. Will it be better? Will it be worse? Only time will tell. Whatever the outcome, I will forever bleed scarlet and cream.

Okay, headed to Omaha in a couple of weeks (I'm out of state...) and want to pick up some husker gear. It's been a while since I've been to Omaha, so help me out and tell me where are the best brick and mortar husker stores (merchandise, jerseys, hats, auto stuff, etc). I used to go to the Nebraska Red Zone, but I believe they're strictly online now... (shows how often I make it to Omaha). Thanks!
