I think most of us were saying he had previously locked in a commitment date, so was hard to get behind the idea. Hell my "source" said it too, and I told him I wish, but I doubt it heavily...I remember somewhere someone said he was close to committing and it might not of been directed at me but everyone was saying July 31st. I knew that was his date but he hadn't really said much about it and Mike Riley retweeting him and all that I just had a feeling he'd be soon. Probably me just assuming people thinking I was dumb. Had to do a double take. When I saw the first guy saying he didn't have a top 4 I'm thinking he's only got 1 and that's us. So Nikko has us too? I'm liking this!

I think it's a cool change-up from the past couple years. personally I like them a lot, I'm a college kid, so maybe the older people don't like them as much? I thought it was very cool everyone tweeting that it was branding right there.

Nice. Like the mix ups with our coverage. With an athletic secondary, and not having to sit in a HS defense this year, we should see a big improvement in our pass defense. Imagine that.....Mixing coverages up....... I think this will turn out to be a stellar hire. I agree. I'll be honest was kinda disappointed at first but after seeing him in practice and his high energy I think we might've stole one. He seems to know his stuff I just didn't know a lot about him at the time of hire.

Maybe if adidas actually made some Adidas husker gear people would like them more. They really don't put any effort into it. Look at all the schools that have Nike and under armour they put out some sweet gear for their schools. Adidas is very laughable, most Nebraska stuff is off brand not even adidas. Huh? There is tons of adidas Husker gear in the market. Yeah, I am not sure where the thought of not having much adidas Husker gear in the market comes from. If you look in retail stores in Nebraska, or order through online stores, there is plenty of official adidas Husker gear available. I understand that there is "off-brand" Nebraska gear through other University apparel partnerships and those are sold at discount retailers, but you can find plenty of adidas gear if you look and are willing to pay a little more (and the adidas stuff is still cheaper than Nike). None online though really. And I'll guarantee I could find champion husker gear over adidas any day.

Both those guys that passed him are still on the team. So yes, it is arguable that he is the best back on the team. Read it again. I said as a runner he shows way more ability to miss and speed than any of our other backs. I never said he was the best right now but he has the most upside.

How about we learn from Penn State wrestling too? Their head coach looks for players who love wrestling and want to have fun. They just had 5 individual National Champs and a Team Championship.

One of my college friends went to the same highschool as him and has said how big of a beast he is. Strong fast and small. I'm hoping he can be a great returner. Maybe looking at PR when DPE is gone.
