These coaches always have a way to make things interesting. We had UCLA down and waiting for the final blow and now they have momentum again. Of course with the help of the 12th man (the refs), UCLA will probably score. I really hope our defense holds.

These refs are f'ing douchbags. They are blind to UCLA 's fouls.

It occurred to me he might be hamming it up a bit to increase his street cred. Wouldn't shock me if an Athletic Department staffer paged him: "Hey, uh, Coach? Yeah, our research is showing that most fans think you're too soft and don't show enough emotion for your team. Can you mix in some jawing at the refs in the second half? It will really play well with the fans." Completely agree with your analysis.

I never liked pelini's antics but Mike Riley's lack of emotion is really suspect. He must have been neutered by Eichorst before coming to Nebraska. No other explanation for the lack of balls on this coaching staff. I guess getting neutered to get salaries is not bad for these coaches. I feel bad for Gerry. That should have been a top ten play and not an ejection. The referee who called that is an idiot.

I am sure that Mike Riley was neutered befor coming to Nebraska. There is no other explanation for his lack of emotion, especially when his team is being raped by the referees.
