We really really really really need the extra practices that come with a bowl game. We need to find a way to win this game. The longer we are behind the better Iowa’s chances are for winning this by scoring a dagger.
Would have been nice if Rhule called a timeout to preserve time so we might have a chance? Can we gather sone funds to send Rhule to a time management and timeout use workshop?
Let us hope this lights some fire under them because Iowa is playing inspired and until that last TD, we were playing scared and terrified. A quick 3 and out followed by another score would be really nice. That is assuming Rhule knows how to use his timeouts.
Tale of two cultures, one used to playing hard nose football, control the game, and win no matter how ugly, and the other is a losing culture who got comfortable losing close games and doesn’t know how to get out of their own way. Guess who we are?
Everyone knows that to beat Iowa, you need to come out quick and punch them in the mouth and make them chase the game. This game is exactly what Iowa thrives on and they almost always come on top. This is not looking good for us because Iowa has all the momentum and belief and our offense is struggling big time.
How undisciplined are we? This is the type of s#!t that gives our opponents opportunities and puts our D in s#!tty situations. So far, we are playing exactly as we expected…not good enough to win
You would think that our offense would feel shame for how hard our D are playing versus how incapable they have been on offense. Can this block of the field goal inspire them?
We will see
