I agree...baseball needs to get a handle on the spending disparity. I mean the freekin' Marlins have a 14 million dollar payroll vs. the Yankees 200 million dollar plus!!! What is cool is they haven't won it all in the last few years with those huge salaries.

I hope if Lucky is patient enough to prosper. I feel this has to be a big year for him. If Glenn or Jackson shine and Lucky still needs time to develop, it will take some good coaching to keep him satisified.

The proof will be in the pudding....everyone knows coaching is a cut throat business. UNL needs to reward their coaches and have competitive, if not top-notch salaries. If they are paying the wrong people those salaries that is the Universitie's fault. I really feel these guys are on to something, but longevity and tradition need to be re-established.... Then we won't give a rat's ass what they are paid!
