The positives are we have better recruiting classes to build depth with. Did you look at our 2 deep depth chart we have very little from our juniors and seniors classes. I agree the program is nowhere near where it should be but I also think the program was a lot worse off in the underclassmen when Pelini was fired. I really believe last 5 games if you don't see progressed then I would be concerned. The Wisconsin game we played 3 quarters with them but the depth on Dline killed us in 4th quarter.The Ohio St. game we just don't have the talent to play with them yet . That's just being real. I would be disappointed if this was next year and this is where we are. Lamar Jackson is playing horrible but if other guys were healthy I don't think he would be playing as much. Frost is a good coach would probably be a great hire.But I also think Riley doesn't deserve the criticism that he's getting for the teams performance. The only game we should of one we didn't win that we should of is Northern Illinois. I think next 5 games will tell more than last 2.

Timmytbro have you ever coached at any level.It takes more than 2 yrs. Of recruits to rebuild a program but I'm sure you think it should be done the first year. The coach has to get his players that fit his system and build depth to compete. We have 3 seniors that add any help in our 2 deep depth chart.

If you guys think the kids in the Midwest are better players you're crazy . We have more talent in Northern California than the whole state of Nebraska does. That's part of your problem you guys think you can win in your 500 radius if that's what you recruit congrats on becoming Wyoming. The best players we have are from California or Texas. If you think freshmen are suppose to come tear it up get real. The biggest problem Nebraska has is a lot of their fans are stuck in the 90's.

There's always upsets . Do you not think he has a way better talent base then the teams he plays against.Let's be real he's right in the middle of Florida. He' s in a hot bed of talent he even said it's easier to recruit there then it was at Oregon.

Did you really say Navy and Memphis. Lmao Mike Reilly would dominate that league too. I'm not saying Frost won't be good but let's realistic about him.

Can someone tell me one good team UCF has beaten this year. I'm not saying Frost isn't a good coach but some you act like he's the next Bear Bryant. It's whole different animal facing big 10 teams. Some of you have to realize the 90's are over kids coming from all over to come to Nebraska are over. I coach two kids right now that are Elite players that Nebraska recruited a Tackle and Outside linebacker one is the #2 Tackle in California. Both decided to stay and go to Cal because it's closer to home. It's not that they didn't like Nebraska coaches it's just closer to home and everyone is on TV now. So until you guys realize as a fan without in state talent it will be hard to battle for Big 10 titles every year. They can compete in West yes but the talent in Ohio and Pennsylvania give Ohio St. and Penn. St. A huge advantage.

I guess Michigan is going to fire Harbaugh now too. The fact that a college team gets blown out happens . The Wisconsin game was close going into 4th quarter then we fell apart. But the sad part is this effect your life so much is a joke root for your team and support them win or lose.

I agree we have to beat Wisconsin and Iowa and all the other teams we're suppose to beat plus play Ohio St. and Penn St. tough or get an upset win. I just believe this team will get better every week and battle for West division title

Not feeling optimistic about those 2 wins at all. What I am is a realist that knows in a tough conference it takes more than 2 years to be a top team again.Do I agree with all the play calling no I'm not doom and gloom like some of you guys that probably never played or coached past youth sports but have all the answers. This week is a big game for the staff to show its headed in right direction or not. I just think you experts have no clue what it takes to turn this around name the big win under Pelini in his tenure.

All of you Mike Riley haters do you realize that in our 2 deep depth chart we have a total of 6 seniors in it. So the façt 2 of them have played a combine 1.5 games because of injuries . This should tell you that it takes time to build up talent and depth to play Big 10 football to compete. Pelini didn't leave much talent in the underclassmen when he got fired. Does NIU game suck yes but besides that losing to Oregon at Oregon is not a bad loss we have won the other games we were suppose too. I think the rest of the season will dictate where the program is heading. So stop trying to fire someone and see what's going to happen last year at this time Penn St. Fans wanted Franklin fired it takes longer than 3 years to turn around a program. We start a new qb both receivers a new TE and both running backs plus new DC it's not going to be perfect.

At 6'6 and get him up to 290 he's the perfect size for a D-end in the 3-4 defense . He has a great motor will turn into a stud in 2 years.
