    Gotta commit first.

True but the fact these guys are even coming in when our recruiting has been radio silent for 2-3 months is giving me positive vibes. I trust in the Frost process but I was getting anxious with how we only had 13 commits and didn't seem like we were in on anyone else

Believe in him to do what?

I still believe in him, but I'm starting to find myself having to temper some of my original thoughts..

I don't think this Offense will be effective long term, if at all...It will get more better with faster recruits, but then again...Will we ever out recruit a place like UCLA where Chip Kelly is struggling with a similar Offense/Defense philosophy in his year two?

Hopefully, S.F. is capable of evolving or adjusting faster than T.O AND HIS STAFF were...I know..Tall order.

These past two decades, I've been hoping for game time adjustments on our side instead of theirs..

Chip Kelly is not running a "similar offense/defense philosophy".... One of the biggest complaints UCLA fans have is that he has turned away from the offense that got him to be so successful and he is trying a different scheme.

I think everyone isn't reading the OP. Well everyone except @ColoradoHusk:lol:We already are 8-4 in the last 12 games we have played. We went 4-16 in the 20 before that. Pretty stark difference.

4 and f#&%ing 16??? wow I did not even realize this holy s#!t.

  4. The NFL wouldn't agree to this simply because the product on the field would not be as good as if they kept the draft requirements at 3 years of college. College players are not physically ready to be in the NFL after only one or even two seasons of college ball save a very few exceptions (and by that I mean maybe 10 players in 20 years).

It was? Here's Vedral's drive chart.

    3 plays 2 yards

    6 plays 22 yards

    3 plays -4 yards

    6 plays 42 yards - 32 on one catch

    That's 3.4 yards per play.

Well it was certainly better then what we were doing the whole rest of that game lol. A lot of our drives were killed from playcalling too tbf but I like that Vedral actually runs hard and fast. Martinez terrible reads and hesitative running is so frustrating to watch

I'm being told that Frost and Vedral know each other well, but the play calling for Vedral looked like the safest garbage you would call for a freshman backup in his first game. Can anyone explain that? A bunch of QB runs??

Don't know if this is sarcasm or not but we have been calling QB runs all the time with Martinez too but he just runs timidly. He was probably getting Vedral settled into the game a bit warming him up. As for the freshman backup thing, Vedral is a sophomore and this is his 3rd year in Frost's system

  7. I've been saying it all season and I'll say it again. Cam Jurgens and the O-Line are not making it easy on Martinez but it's clear Martinez isn't the same, not even close. His reads are terrible, he runs timidly, he overthrows passes, and he holds onto the ball too long. I don't know what the issue is but pointing at the stats and saying "he has better stats then Tommy's best year" is not a good way of looking at it. A lot of those stats are boosted thanks to JD Spielman making insane catches or Mo/Wandale making insane runs off of screen passes/short passes. I say we start Vedral and if it's not going well then we put Martinez back in but our offense was actually moving with Vedral out there. Open up Adrian's Junior year with a QB competition and if he wins it back then so be it. As of right now I'm tired of all the excuses and he's done enough for me to say he's lost the job for the time being.

Yep. I had Hunter Lawrence in my head. Who’s that?  I’ll have to look him up.

For me, what gave it away was the number of games.

You were definitely combining Hunter Renfrow and Trevor Lawrence's names lol

Visiting for the game, on our sideline right, and tweeted this. This shows you how this game is going for recruits. We brought them in to show them why they should not come here.

This is why I feared getting whooped up on prime time. We put too much of our eggs in one basket for this day. This class needs a big commitment to resurrect it fast or things aren't going to be pretty anytime soon. That being said pull this dudes offer, don't want to hear about him anymore after he pulled that s#!t

If it works out we are undefeated by the time of the OSU game and can win that one, perhaps Jackson could see himself playing here.  A lot of good things have to happen and I won't hold my breath. Fun to think about though.

A lot of good things had to happen. Beating CU was first on the list and we already failed. Classic Nebraska

1-0 is better than 0-6. Not sure what was going on with the offense. Omaha media has been saying the defense will need to carry the offense early in the season, with so many young players on offense. That was true today.

The thing is... JD, Wandale, Stoll, and Washington all looked good today. Martinez and the Oline were just so off...
