Crazy question. How good of a coach is urban meyer now? It seems to me like he may rests on his laurels of being a phenomenal recruiting guy. Their talent level is so supreme to their competition that they win 10-11 every year. I mean between ohio state and florida how did or do they ever lose to anyone other than bama.

Agree. Plus people would be clamoring for info and putting heat on Frost to announce something. Now there is no pressure on frost because we havnt fired our coach yet.

By seal the deal I mean we may have all the differences in the contract sorted out so the final copies ready to be signed is ready to go. So you can move fast once his season concludes.

I would tend to say that most leaks or not really leaks. They are intentional leaks to get information out. In my opinion I dont think Nebraska would have done anything to have word get out they are officially looking to talk to Frost unless they thought he was going to come here. Too much egg on your face if he says no.

I completely agree. I just mean that regardless of how hard the schedule is, I imagine the next head coach can do better than 4-8 and still have a record improvement next year. That would keep some of the ridiculous fans we have at bay from complaining about going backwards in year 1.

Dont get me wrong I long for the day we finally fire Riley and Frost gets on a plane to Nebraska. But if it is starting to leak that we are talking to Frost- I sure hope the university has enough tact to tell Riley now if they have not already that your fired in 2 weeks.
