  1. Can also encourage him to graduate in May and move on as a grad transfer.
  2. My guess is that the most recent suspension is something more serious. They were already in Minneapolis and got sent home.
  3. It appears that everyone involved with the team just wants the season to be over, so this could be another ugly game.
  4. I can see Burke leaving as a grad transfer no matter if Hoiberg wants him back or not. He was recruited by a different coach into a completely different system. He didn't really have a choice to leave after Miles was fired. If he left, he would have had to appeal to the NCAA for immediate eligibility or lose a season (play 3 in 5 years). And we all know how silly the NCAA can be about appeals. Mack is going to be a tough call. Does his on court talent out weigh the off court BS? There is no doubting the on court talent and potential but he's not Michael Jordan so you can't have a different set of rules for him like the Bulls did and you also can't have your point guard getting suspended constantly. If the off court BS had been early in the year and he had shown signs of maturing through the year, I think it would be a no brainer that he stays, but it has been the opposite.
  5. https://www.omaha.com/sports/high-school/as-hunter-sallis-learns-to-fly-the-millard-north-star/article_94ce2dea-9338-5963-9441-2a2ca4067d03.html Doesn't appear to be behind the pay wall.
  6. ESPN has an early look at the coaching carousel. Tim Miles to Wyoming? https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/insider/story/_/id/28831854/your-guide-2020-college-basketball-coaching-carousel
  7. O/U is 149.5 at ESPN, so low 80's for Michigan & upper 60's for NU.
  8. Current line is Michigan by 17. This could get ugly. On another note, why do we always seem to play at 5:30 central when we play at Michigan?
  9. Even the guys who played this will be more B1G ready after a year in the conditioning & nutrition program.
  10. Any word on Cam Mack's playing status? I know they said it would be a decision they made today, but haven't seen anything.
  11. Letting a lot go. If they'd call some fouls they wouldn't have all the chippyness
  12. I think there is hope. Cam Mack seems to be the real deal & the scout team beats the starters on a regular basis in practice. The three transfers who are sitting out this year will make a big difference next year.
  13. Before my dad moved to Omaha, we traveled to the games separately & I always parked near the baseball field. The lot doesn't appear to have a number, but you would come in off Sun Valley Blvd. The lot is actually near the Breslow Ice Center. It's about a 5 minute walk (assuming your 10 year old walks about the same speed as my 75 year old dad).
  14. I think he's 2021, but might reclassify to 2020 (or it could be the other way around).
  15. Interesting article on Icelandic basketball players with a few quotes from Thor. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaab/2020/02/12/icelands-basketball-family-chasing-dreams-at-us-colleges/41218939/
  16. Shouldn't have had to review it. There was a referee five feet away looking at the play. He should have gotten it right the first time. I'm not saying they would have won, but I like their chances a lot better running an inbounds play with 2 seconds than a three-quarter court heave with .7.
  17. Smith was clearly out of bounds & touched the ball with 2 seconds left. Not sure how they missed that.
  18. How many times does Maryland get to hit Nebraska players in the head/face before they get called for a flagrant foul?
  19. 1 I get that he's only 17, but he's 6'9" and when there is nobody between him and the basket he should be dunking the ball. 2 Cam not having much help is all the more reason to stay on the ground if there is no pass available. The other option is to develop a floater so he can shoot over bigs.
  20. Two things I've noticed: 1 Yvan needs to dunk the damn ball 2 Cam needs to stop jumping in the lane with nowhere to go with the ball. He's not going to get any calls this year and it almost always turns into a turn over.
  21. He played 2 minutes because Yvan was having a horrible game and Cross was in foul trouble. Was guarding Teske most of the time & giving up 7 inches and nearly 100 pounds.
  22. He got a one game suspension. Apparently intentionally hitting someone in the groin (for a second time in two years) is not as bad as stepping on someone's chest intentionally according to the B1G.
