  1. The fact that Haarberg was 3rd string QB for the last two years and most likely in that same position coming into this year tells me what he is and its not  grade A..  the fact that he has came in and gave us 4 wins is commendable at the very least...  you cant get filet mignon out of ground beef but it seems like you can make a pretty good meatloaf...  either way...  ill take what is being served until the menu changes...

All of them. It’s an issue of mechanics it will need repetition. No one when they first start playing football comes out capable of throwing like Tom Brady, it’s repetition. Same thing with a golf swing

Understand what you are saying but this is not a topic for a QB in his sophomore year playing at P5 level...  the "repetition" should have already been done

Same friend (works for an architect firm) who told me 5 years ago what was going to happen to south stadium said that redeveloping the area between west stadium and 180 into commercial retail space is in the master plans.

Ive heard some of the same rumblings, with the "champions club" being moved into the west stadium...

If Haarberg figures out his mechanics, he could be a really solid QB. Dude's got to figure out how to keep his passes from sailing, though.

OR how to stop the entire defense from crashing through the line...

You are missing what I'm saying.  Is Sims somehow a better Qb if the DBs dropped those INTs??  No. But posters here are ignoring the fact that HH has made the same s#!tty throws but his were dropped.  Thrown right to them but dropped. If anything we should be saying Sims throws a more catchable ball no matter who it's to.

    No, we just dont agree..

No.  He did the same thing last week.  He threw a ball right to a LB from NIL and the kid dropped it.  Two of his completions to Fidone probably get picked as well.  And a lot of his throws have been nowhere near anyone.  He missed Kemp being wide open and decided to try to get his backup Rb killed by dumping it off to him.  That probably could have been intercepted as well.  They both have made mistakes but one has benefited from not playing against the same skill level.  People are acting like HH is playing lights out and he's not.  I think both of them have some work to do

I think im going with the guy that DIDNT turnover the ball 7 times in two game...

Long time fan, and just got enough courage to create a screen name.  At any rate, the blackshirts look unstoppable and I am loving what I see from the offense. RTB = Run the Ball.

Homer take, but give Ruhle 2-4 years and we will dominate the B1G.  Tell me I am wrong comparing this team to the team the last 2-4 years. Just Sayin

after next week, im guessing you will have a different take...  just say'n...

People who understand football and nuance might make the case that while Rhule said Grant needed to work on ball control, Rhule simply believed Gabe Ervin had the better camp and wanted to promote him over last year's leading rusher. In game experience, Grant lost one fumble in 236 touches last season

Agreed...  with that being said and the fact coming into this year grant was the presumed leader, a drop to #3 with the comments of "grant needs to work on ball control" and "if you cant handle the ball you cant play on this team" would insinuate he dropped because of that issue particularly...  But that wasn't the discussion at hand..  it stemmed more from some opinion that a QB should have different criteria than an RB when it comes to play time due to fumbles (or mistakes in general)..  in general yes...  the QB handles the ball more often and has many more variables but when it is as egregious as Sims's issues have been (7 in 2 games) it is and was warranted...

Sorry @Lorewarn for being a communist...!!! again..!!  :o

Still wallowing despite claiming the contrary, I see. Keep digging though, it amuses me how confidently wrong you are.

I see you want to go for the 4th day...  Maybe after a week, you can celebrate your stubbornness by buying me a beer...??  Maybe not...  I anxiously await your next attempt of redemption..

So you're rubber and I'm glue - good one. And you keep on wallowing with responses.

Here's a reminder what the point was, which literally nothing changed due to the game:

and here it is 3 days later and you STILL don't get it....  but hey... thanks again for proving my point....

It's amazing that you still don't know the point of discussion even after I spelled it out for you and then you replied that of course that's what we're talking about. Makes the attempted snarky comeback even more sad.

we all know what the point was...  I quoted it to show YOU didnt....  You just don't want to admit you were wrong...  but its okay....  I know your kind, that's why I conceded long ago...  I choose not to wallow

If there's a "most improved player" award, it maybe goes to Nash Hutmacher. The guy's motor is real and he just shows up on every down to do some damage.

Tony White makes Erik Chinander look like hammered dog s***. The disguised coverages and secondary play is really doing some good things. And our tackling is pretty great.

I try really hard to not dog on play calling because I think it's often times pretty lazy by fans. But there were long stretches of this game where Satterfield just looked so dumb. I get it, you're trying to make them think you'll always run on first down so then you call a drop-back passing play. But it cost us pretty bad several times. On the second drive he completely went away from the zone read running plays. Why?

Our running backs showed some individual effort in the second half to keep fighting and cut outside to keep looking for space. We've needed more of that kind of stuff ever since Dedrick Mills graduated.

I hope nothing causes Haarberg to transfer out. He has some real potential.

love love love  Hutmacher's play...!!  and as much as ill take shyt with this comment...  I actually feel Benhart has stepped up his game quite a bit...  honorable mention..??
