  1. disappointing to see lee regress so much. it felt like he was turning a corner. i give him somewhat of a pass though because our o-line and running backs look bad.
  2. the fans are the reason we have 8 million sellouts. maybe the AD should try to appease them and let riley go now.
  3. am i the only one that wants to see ucf in the playoff if they go undefeated? wasn't the whole point of the playoff to not leave out undefeated teams? regardless of the schedule, going 12-0 is tough to do.
  4. what positives is riley doing at this point? he's not recruiting. in fact he's losing recruits at this point. riley is on the verge of his 2nd 5-7 regular season in 3 years. he's an awful coach. just get rid of him now. maybe this team would actually rally to win a couple more games if riley was let go.
  5. rumors are floating that moos told riley before the purdue game he needs to finish 4-1 to keep his job. that might explain why the coaches were so happy after the game.
  6. riley tricked a lot of recruits last year because we had some good seniors and a powder puff schedule. now these recruits are seeing riley's true colors. it's over for riley.
  7. i believe at the end of the season frost will ask osborne for advice, and i imagine osborne will simply tell him to do what's best for his family and his career. i don't believe osborne will try to sway him to nebraska.
  8. you realize moos gets paid no matter what. that's why the AD position is so dumb. moos can go do whatever the hell he wants then get a big fat buyout like eichorst did. it's up to the board to fork over money and go get frost. moos is simply the guy that makes contact with his reps.
  9. bookie and keyshawn jr are probably more well known by fans than half the players on our current team, and neither will likely ever play a down for nebraska.
  10. but you have to admit the NIU loss and blowout losses to wisky/osu are the main reason he's not coming here.
  11. if bookie liked riley so much, wouldn't you wait until he's officially fired before decommitting? seems like he was going to decommitt whether riley is here or not. our 2018 class rank is about to drop to 65. kansas is #64...
  12. the point i was making is that riley is a coward if he is telling recruits he won't be back next year. moos clearly said he does not make midseason changes.
  13. when was he planning to enroll? is there still a chance the new coach could convince him to come back?
  14. i personally think this has more to do with us struggling to beat bad teams than it does riley being fired or not. why come here when you can compete for a championship at clemson/alabama?
  15. not a chance. riley still has a 'chance' to win 9 games this year. he won't get fired if that were to happen.
  16. our offense is pretty bizarre. started out the season running well but couldn't pass. now its the opposite.
  17. not really a surprise. they've won 3 in a row. going to be another close game probably.
  18. he can always cherish beating purdue when he's coaching high school football for the next 30 years.
  19. I don't see florida bringing in another non-power 5 coach after what happened with McElwain. i think that bodes well for us getting frost.
  20. i think florida is the only school we have to worry about getting frost. they are a top 5 program and frost already has a recruiting base established in florida. it'd be silly for him to turn down that job.
  21. so sad. trying to stick it to the fans because they beat purdue by 1? they all know they're losing their jobs...
  22. not sure frost is florida's first option. they went with a small school guy last time around, and it didn't work. i expect them to make a play for a more experienced coach. kelly/stoops.
  23. frost isn't leaving his undefeated ucf team midseason, so it doesn't matter if Floridan and Tenn fire midseason. it's simply a move to appease the fans. i do think there is a good chance riley would have been gone today if we hadn't beat purdue.
  24. being unbiased, frost would be silly to turn down the florida job if the pay is the same as nebraska is offering. they can recruit much better talent than we can without even leaving the state. though i don't think frost will be florida's first choice.
