Yeah, Frost is the reason why Adrian's career took a nosedive.
Explain to me why Frost wasn’t the reason? The longer he spent under Frost the worse he got, seems to be the definition of ruining someone.

Would put him back in July. Presuming he wouldn’t be ready before august in rehab/getting up to speed.
6 weeks is June 8th, 8 weeks is the 22nd. I'd say there's a good chance of a before August return.

What the heck is wrong with your Oilers? They failed to win me a bunch of $$ last night. I figured Kings, at home, in the playoffs….can’t possibly lose. Wrong.
Of course the problem may have been me. Went 0fer 3 yesterday.
Toronto-nope.
Dallas-nope.
Edmonton-nope.
That EDM-LA series I thought could be sneaky good. LOL to betting on Toronto!
Go Avs.

I don’t see how the NCAA can’t get a handle on this like the NFL does.
I can't honestly believe anyone still thinks the NCAA can do anything. Thanks for the laugh!
Seriously, the big leagues can handle things because of collective bargaining and a commissioner. There is zero hope of containing anything with the current setup in college sports.

Good thing we have a dedicated Special Teams coach so we can miss field goals and run muffed kicks out of the end zone.
I'm glad you are practicing so hard in the spring as well. Mid-season snark here already. Pace yourself!

Time in the pocket, no fear of being sacked, not rushed into falling back into bad habits.
Tip of the cap, looks better than I expected but we will see when a real defense is on the other side.

Seems like there’s a decent chance we don’t get a player drafted into the NFL this year? It would appear we have a few guys who might be very late rounds, but I guess we will see. Sure, that senior class was short on talent/development and went through a ton without much to show for it, but it’s also a testament to how much returning production we have coming back next year.
There's very little chance anyone gets drafted this year.

I'm not drawing that, or any other conclusions about the QBs, until we can see more of them. Right now, the best guys like Sipp can do is rely on gossip from those inside the program. The media gets to see practically nothing.
While true, we've been fed sunshine for years and it basically never turns out the way they relay. I'm done listening to it. My conclusions on HH are what I witnessed in 23. One offseason can't turn him into a QB, but God bless him for giving it his all. I appreciate the guy, and don't mean to seem like I'm ragging on him because I am not. This just isn't his position. He is a great athlete that could help this team elsewhere.

If Haarberg is that good, then great. I'm not taking Sipp's word for it, though.
I've seen him play, and I too never believe the stuff that they say anymore. No offense to HH at all, but he simply should not be at that position. The fact that we still have him there and at number 2 is not a good sign, but DK gets a pass for being a freshman. He isn't at #2 out of being good, he's simply the second best option right now. If DR gets hurt we are in a world of trouble again, especially when they are wanting to sling the ball all over the place moving forward it seems.

Callahan and Sipp were saying it seems like HH is the clear #2 right now, FWIW.

It will be interesting to see if Rhule adds Colorado’s Dylan Edwards from the portal and who appears to be a nebraska lean.
He's not leaning Nebraska at all.

I know that every player has something to work on I was saying that his things that he needs to work on are probably small stuff compared to what HH and DK have to work on in order to have a marginal lead. HC Matt Rhule made it sound like he had big stuff to work on just a couple of days before the scrimmage. He(MR) made it sound like there wasn't a clear cut leader before the scrimmage bc all the qb's had stuff they needed to work on and still do.
Being the leader simply means better than the competition. That doesn't equal good by default.

Not sure why you posted this, it has nothing to do with us. It's been shown that you can't get talented ballplayers to come play in the northern Nebraska climate.....
Wouldn't it be Southern Nebraska?

He only played in a few.

Advice from the guy who lives in the land of schizophrenic weather (Colorado), layers. You will be good no matter what then, besides having to carry what you remove if needed.

I understand Barthel is trying to sell to recruits, but in actual football terms that sentence is pretty meaningless anymore. Most of the remaining differences these days are due to things like the rules, hashmark spacing, and various other things we have no actual control over.
Well, the running game is becoming less meaningful in the NFL by the year, so if the RB coach in college is saying that it make me laugh. It means more in college 100%.

If they only have 4 qb's on the roster and three are scholarships and one is a walk on hopefully it doesn't come to that. I only asked bc recent Nebraska starting qb's have gotten hurt throughout the years and we have had to go to back ups.
We started a TE at QB for the majority of last year.

They don't catch it because there are no symptoms, my father had it and they only caught it by doing a scan for something else. He ended up living 2 years after diagnosis, but it was a mistake they caught it in the first place. He ended up with 3/4 types of cancer however from his time in Vietnam and taking a few agent orange baths. Thankfully my Mom is still being paid 100% disability for all that fun.
Best wishes to the Sharpe family, terrible.

Probably an unpopular take here, but can we just stop the fawning over TO and continuing to name stuff after him? He has the field already, let's move forward, or at least honor someone else. It feels like Stockholm Syndrome to me anymore.

I hope this isn't the year (or next) when they significantly cut the number of bowls. Hoping, worse case scenario, we go 6-6 and can still slide into some craptatstic bowl. Hate to be the year we are finally bowl eligible there is not enough bowls....
Why did you have to go and speak that into existence? That would totally be a Nebraska thing. Go 6-6 when the new criteria is 7-5.
Jokes aside, they won't do that. Greed rules this sport now.

That probably makes too much sense. I am sure we have to declare it before the NCAA board and promise we won't give out Capri Sun during our time on that side.
