nevermind i just heard that they would remain on PSU scholarship and play for another school, WOW! I think you misunderstood it. They are free to transfer, yes. If so, they would need a scholly at the school they go to. They can decide to not play football and still remain as a scholly athlete at Penn State. The NCAA did not say you could still have a scholarship, transfer to another school and remain a scholly athlete at Penn State ... as I heard it.

I don't get the "downplay" on Trent. He was a winner any way you want to look at it. Plus, what the hell has he said negative about JS? It's a stupid debate. He won a Super Bowl and wasn't an "all-world" QB. He knew his place then and he knows his stuff now. I have alot of respect for a hard working guy like him ... He carries alot of Husker values ... so I just don't get this board sometimes. Guess there is alot of "penis-envy" on here or something.

If so, the other coaches are losing. USC is kicking everyone's butt.

I admire greatly what they are doing under those circumstances. Granted, they will pull scholarships and do a few things Nebraska wouldn't do. In three years they should win a couple of championships. If not, Kiffin can't coach ... period.

Huskers gotta win these types of recruiting battles to become slightly relevant.

He seemed high on the Huskers because it was his first visit and it exceeded what he thought. He seems to speak very highly of Oklahoma, their tradition, what they do with the TE and the offensive tendencies of the Big 12. Thus, from what I read I would think he would visit Oklahoma and be more then impressed with the Sooners and feel that being a better fit then the We shall find out as it unfolds.

Glad to see him working hard getting ready both academically and physically.

With 12-14 scholarships still out there to give it appears like the rest of this class is gonna be a bunch of three and two star guys. My guess would be we might snag 3-4 more four star type guys.

How do they do it? I truly don't believe it's because "they are USC".

Wish we could get a visit out of this kid. From my perspective ... their is a wide open door at that position for this kid to fill.

I'd take MZ in a heart beat ... but if any of our current QB's, JS or MZ are gonna decommit because of any fear of competition I'd rather not have them associated with the team at all ... that crap has got to end.

Husker Rob, yes, the TE prospect is a JUCO, he would be here two years. So he was saying that the JUCO talent would find a nice place for his two years seeing they are both from Cali. He wasn't referring to Stanton being a JUCO or being here two years.
