I know. I'm not saying those coaches are being forced on Frost. Heck, they even talked about the offense he would run at Nebraska. We will see how the staff comes together once Frost gets here since that stuff is always fluid with other offers that come in.

The poster that I am talking about attends the meetings with the big wigs and he said it is true about the two way communication. He doesn't have any confirmation that Scott Frost is coming through and I wouldn't expect him to say otherwise without confirmation of it. He is the guy where I am getting the DB, DL and WR coaches potentially retained.

UF is on the verge of no longer being competition for Scott Frost and he rejected them. If he wanted that job they would have waited.

I'm just looking forward to all of this being done and over with. Now people are having freak outs about rumors of Frost not the #1 target even after an ESPN employee states that Nebraska has made it known that they want Frost as the next head coach. SMH.

Not if the next hire works out. It is a risk you don't take in life. When something opens up or comes around that you have the chance to take it, you take it and don't fate life for hoping it comes around again in the future. It rarely ever works out. That is where regret comes in later in life. I have made that mistake once too and will never make that mistake again.

I have followed him very close since he arrived at Oregon. He has never been a guy that will speak about other jobs when he is at his current job. Anyone can find this on YouTube, but you can't find an interview of a person asking him about the future Nebraska series and I will let others listen to it for themselves:

Damon, it has never been about how much of a hurry he is in. Frost even admitted several times that he got UCF turned around faster then he ever expected. The timeline has sped up. It is also about an opportunity to take something that may only come around once in his life and to pass it up just to stay at UCF and never make the playoff (Remember Boise State) would be something a person regrets later in life. And Bahe is spot on in his analysis. In the end Scott Frost will be your next head coach at Nebraska.

I see nothing to think Chip is not signing with UF. If nothing breaks by an accredited media source by late Friday afternoon I will wonder what is up. I have been saying Frost to UNL since day 1.

Stick to the subject of the thread. It is not hard to do. Onlygators.com is saying they have confirmed with sources about Nebraska wanting to interview and eventually hire Scott Frost.

Jeff Long fired as AD at Arky. Will be interesting to see how that impacts the Arkansas football job opening up this season.

What was posted in 247 not that loing ago is he would be keeping DL, WR and DB coaches. The rest he brings with or hires from outside. We will see if that happens though.
