Boots on the ground. How would it even be possible to attempt this and not think there are going to be casualties for the US and Palestine. How can Biden get elected with a body count?

HuffPo: A Shocking Number Of Minnesota Democrats Cast ‘Uncommitted’ Ballots
Nearly 20% of Minnesota Democratic voters opted to vote “uncommitted” in Tuesday’s presidential primary, as efforts gain momentum to send a message to President Joe Biden about his backing of Israel amid the soaring civilian casualties in its war in Gaza.

Hey Michigan Huskers, tickets for the game are super cheap, some as cheap as $1 + fees. There's a pair in the upper bowl for $14.58 total! I picked up 2 pairs in the same section in the lower bowl for about $75.
GBR!

Remember when Nuland helped overthrow the Ukraine govt? Russia responded by taking Crimea. 10 years ago this month is when Ukraine was lost.
fwiw, I was war mongering neocon back then and loved this stuff. I was pissed when Obama didn't respond to Crimea or when the Russians shot down a passenger plane.

The US's most powerful neocon Vicky Nuland is retiring. Other than the war mongering whore George W Bush, no one has done more to provoke the Ukraine-Russia war.

Some more commentary on the Michigan Uncommitted voters.
NYT: Opinion: Charles M. Blow: Arab American Fury Toward Biden
“As bad as Mr. Trump’s rhetoric was, and him putting a travel ban on five Muslim countries, he wasn’t overseeing and actively arming a genocide.”
“In dehumanizing the Palestinians, Biden had surpassed Trump.”
---------
Biden's not getting these voter Muslim voters back. So the question becomes how many of the Uncommitted voters were Muslim? Uncommitted took >10% in 70 of Michigan's 83 counties. Other than Wayne county where Dearborn is, I think the Uncommitted vote is much more likely to vote Biden. I would guess there were plenty of college kids that wanted to show solidarity with Palestine but will vote for Biden in the fall.
This is the first time I've thought that Trump might have a chance in Michigan.

Not really a fan of it. But, it's not quite as it seems. These people fill out a form on line and book an appointment with an agent in the US. They are then flown to other parts of the US other than the border which is overwhelmed. We should know who they are from the form they fill out. They are being seen by an agent and processed.
So "Remain in Mexico" has been replaced with "Fly Over Mexico."

14th Amendment Section 5.
The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
Jurisdiction was given to the US Congress, not the Colorado Supreme Court.

Speaking of Grant - I read American Ulysses by Ronald C White. I came away with a greater respect and appreciation for him not only for his role in the Civil War ( I think the Union loses without him even though he didn’t always win the battles- some being horrendous loses but he kept learning) but also as President.

Ukraine didn't win any meaningful battles last year, they didn't take back any lost territory. What gives you hope that changes this year?

Crazy crazy, 100,000 Undecided Dem votes yesterday. Biden pulled 700,000. That's 1 in 8. The 'Abandon Biden' voters aren't switching, they're staying home.
in 2020 Biden got 2.8M votes and beat Trump by 150,000. Had 1 in 8 stayed home, Trump would have won by 500,000. If 1 in 18 had stayed home it would have been a dead heat.
Michgan Dems in the House have for years covered and supported Rep Rashida Tlaib. My Rep, Debbie Dingell went to the House floor and proclaimed antisemitic tropes have different meanings to different people when Tlaib used "From the river to the sea" in her tweets. 2 weeks ago Tlaib was the only one not to vote to commend Hamas rapes. The Dems have extended her every grace and now she stands to defeat Biden.
So Biden and Gov Gretchen Whitmer have their work cut out for them. The State Repubs are very weak so that makes the job easier.

It's the Michigan primary today (@ZRod). Rep Tlaib is running a counter campaign against Biden. Voters can vote undecided. It'll be interesting to see how wide spread those undecided votes are throughout the state. I doubt it'll make much difference nationally in Nov, blue no matter who.
Guess who Michigan Dems nominated for president in 1972:
SpoilerGeorge Wallace, early player of the circle game! Wallace was a close 3rd to McGovern and Humphrey.

It was inevitable. Hopefully the crew survived. Survivability was one of the biggest advantage of the Abrams over the Soviet made tanks. It's easier to get a new tank than it is to train a new crew.
Drone footage shows the crew out of the tank. The blast doors are open, as you mentioned about survivalabiliy. Not sure where the crew is now; back at base, MIA, or captured? Hopefully is can be recovered.
