Some of you folks really like to lump all Democrats together. Makes you look pretty clueless actually. I have immediate family who are Democrats,  don’t like Hillary and they voted for Trump.  Should I chastisize them for having an open mind? Guess what?  Some of us actually do keep an open mind and don’t lean far left or far right. Generalizations about anyone based on which political party they registered for makes no sense to me, but do as you please, I guess.

Maybe to start the season, but 7 and 3 aren’t exactly tackling machines at this point.  I can see Henrich passing one of them before the end of the season because of his football IQ and tackling ability. Just my opinion. 

If some of you negatorians insist on tempering Martinez’s performance thus far and his potential, I don’t know what you could possibly be wanting in our quarterback at this point.  Maybe it’s time to re-evaluate your expectations?

Watching mn vs ia. Our offense game play against both should be Pass, Pass and Play action Pass. Both are  stout against the run, but vulnerable to the pass. In fact, run defense is the only thing minnesota does well IMO. 

Absent at Nebraska practices?  Does anyone know?  I mean real officials, not GA’s and students with striped shirts. If players get away with penalties in practice then....as every coach says “you play how you practice “.  Not saying that is going on at NU, but it makes me wonder.

Good perspective.  I agree about cringing at the “greatest fans in college football “ BS. I also sometimes cringe at the word “fan” itself.  It’s a general, all encompassing term for the jerk who boo’s his team and always looks for something to complain about to the ultra positive happy-go-lucky person that claps when we run for 2 yards on 3rd-and 5, and then the rest of us somewhere in-between. 

So while he was absent from practice Monday from an apparent illness,  he hopefully checked out HB to learn that he’s supposed to be pissed at the Oline.
