I'm guessing McGovern has some NFL money still coming in.

Not a guarantee they won't have games, but it's certainly looking less likely, especially for the PAC-12. If some conferences have games and others don't, imagine all the attempts to transfer and the other mass chaos. So many uncertainties.

Very nice. Shouldn't have to worry about his academics.

Chin in a bit over his head? yes, he may be looking at the wrong things??
defense by committee?
I think saying he's in over his head is a bit unfair. There are lots of reasons the defense has struggled. It's just nice to get multiple opinions and bounce ideas off each other. If hiring 2 analysts means he's in over his head, then I guess Saban doesn't know the first thing about football...

So, please help me out. The 2020 Roster on Huskermax has the following kickers: (Am I missing anyone)
Grant Detlefsen P RFr
William Przystup P So
Gabe Heins PK So
Chase Contreraz PK So
Tyler Crawford PK/P Fr
Newly signed - Daniel Cerni P Fr?
That is a crowded kicker room. This is going to be a very interesting competition in fall camp.
I feel bad for Przystup. He left MSU because they got an Aussie kicker from the same school as Cerni. He thought he could make a difference here, and now he's likely the backup at best. But, competition is great for team improvement.

Was in the Rivals150 last summer but slid down now.
And they said he moved down because they haven't had a chance to evaluate him again. It's very possible he moves back up.
Solid pickup. Looks like he runs the court well and he's an athletic big man. Needs a little muscle and development, but he looks like a solid addition. I believe he'll be the only freshman on the roster.

His average is over a second more in hang time than we had last year.
To be fair, that was from 9 punts on his highlight tape. Still has great upside though.

I hope these guys can help work out some kinks.
"The Cornhuskers have added former NFL assistant Bill McGovern and college assistant Bobby Maffei as analysts. Both are listed on the school website's staff directory, though it was not immediately clear how long either has been on staff."

Minnesota please?

@Mavric I think you added Texas Tech to the poll not realizing it was already there.

Yep. Not enough people and too many other teams that want us gone. Oh well. Good effort and we'll see if we can take some back tonight.

If you’re gonna criticize one thing about this cycle is has to be DL recruiting. What is going on so far?
Was thinking the same thing a few days ago. It seems as if we have absolutely no one interested at this point, but hopefully they're doing well behind the scenes.

Good blend of size, speed and power. One thing he will need to do in college is get rid of that little hop he does when the ball is snapped. First step is important as you move up levels.
I'm guessing he's coached that way to help with timing and positioning on the handoffs.

Tennessee please?

AJ Forbes in the portal now as well
Solid O-Line recruits + paying for college + financial uncertainty = transfer
Best of luck to all of the recent departures.

Short article, not much interesting but about all I could find, lol: https://huskercorner.com/2020/05/03/nebraska-football-extends-offer/
I hope that writer has a job besides writing "Husker Corner".
Any Joe Schmoe with a Twitter account could write the articles he writes. He's probably getting some of his information from here too.

I can't find much on this kid. Looks like he went to prep school the same place as Casey Rogers and it looks like he's planning to be with a college team this fall.

Didn't see a profile, but it looks like we offered in February, did a Zoom meeting recently, and picked up a CB today. Also has 18 offers, including from Michigan and Ohio State. Could be an OLB or TE.
