When I first heard about Landon Davidson, I wasn’t too excited. But after I saw his game video I saw a wow. Hopefully Barta’s videos show something. 

But how many spots do they have left? I’ve heard a maximum of 25. If Brix comes aboard that leaves one more for a LB or DL?

Let’s say Brix commits. That apparently leaves only two spots left. I would hope a LB and a DL. 

He may be smaller bone and can never get much bigger. Perhaps a Division 2 player? ???

Perhaps my comment should had not been said. I didn’t mean any harm, guys. I do think after Brix they need the last two openings on a linebacker and DL.

Not inflammatory at all. I wish the kid luck at Illinois. If I am fooled by the photo, I will be the first to admit it. No bad intentions on my part.

Believe it or not I would had expressed the same concern if he committed — maybe even more so. But as I said, a photo  can be deceiving. I wish the kid the best.

You know the saying a picture is worth a thousand words. The kid looks out of shape. If anything the N coaches could had been put off by that. Yes, I could be wrong, but the picture indicates a lack of discipline. Just saying.

If N manages to get Brix, Rhule may not wait for the local kid.  Nice problem to have. But really N needs to focus on getting interior DLs. 

I just hope when it’s all said and done this class will hold up. I’m not talking about any recruit specifically but there are always at least a couple of cracks within the commitments every year resulting in a couple decommitments. Hopefully luck is on our side, but it seems likely to happen.

I’m more hopeful now than I would be with Sims, especially if the OL makes some noticeable improvements. Instead of Dylan this could be the one who jump starts the program if the whole offense could put it together. But if he gets hit as often as AM and CT, no. But talent seems to be there. I tend to think Rhule has better talent than when he started at Temple and at Baylor. And if Haarberg follows, that would give N a better reputation of developing QBs, among other positions. This season is critical. If N far exceeds expectations— I’m thinking 6-7 wins — we may get some decommitments, including maybe even a top QB. 

If N can get both Bellevue WRs, that would be a successful 2024 WR recruiting class. 

Not necessarily talking about Dylan, but it’s a long way to December. While it probably won’t be Dylan, there will be decommitments. Thus some we don’t expect to come may still end up here. On the other hand there will probably be around three who decommits from N. One way or the other it’s far from over. But I do believe Dylan will be at Georgia for at least on year if not more. 

Either him or Kewan Lacy. Lacy may not be as fast but appears more shifty. 

Obviously the OL will have to show something in the future to get some more top guns. Also it would help if Sims has a great season. Sims could help jump start the program if the OL improves.

However, he also knows he's in no rush because the top destinations in the country will make room for him whenever he chooses. The idea we're accustomed to that everyone basically takes 1 QB and you'd better commit early to secure your spot doesn't seem to apply to him.

I agree with that. Of course I have no idea, but perhaps he wants to wait and see a few Husker games early in the season? It would not surprise me if he would visit N during their first home game. That would be three games for him to get a good look at Nebraska.
