so that 1 guy instigated the whole thing.   he called everyone to washington and told them to march to the capitol.

Is that what I said?   Nooooooooooooooooooo

What I said, is that Epps was very vocal about getting the people that were already there to become rioters vs protesters. They very well may have done so without his encouragement.  But he is on tape doing so.  Multiple times.  Very boisterous.  Unabashedly yelling to go inside the Capitol.   Yet he isn’t charged.

Now that we know Archy has a very dry, Norm Macdonald-like, sense of humor it shines a whole new light on his posts.

He’s just been yankin’ our chains!

HA.  You wish.  I’m a married man.

the main instigator was Donald J. Trump.  and he is still instigating.    i am sorry you can't admit that.   and the biggest part of the republican party is doing all they can to protect him because a big part of the party was complicit

Trump never told anyone to go inside the Capitol.  This guy was VERY VERY vocal about telling everyone to go inside the Capitol.  I am sorry you can’t admit that.

Ha!  I thought you were joking too!

As much time as you spend on here, did you actually believe @B.B. Hemingwayfancied identity politics?

    Now that’s funny!

I was joking and I guess I need to spell out my Norm Macdonald dry humor at the bottom of the posts. It doesn’t play well on a message board.  My apologies.

i certainly know @B.B. Hemingway doesn’t fancy identity politics and we have our own humor thing going.  Remember the cats??  And the take things literally post of your?

my thought is that he isn't charged because he is cooperating.

why do you think someone is lying about it?

I think lots of people who cooperated were still charged and sentenced.  Except the main inciter at the Capitol and the night before.

I think some entity told Epps to be very vocal about getting people to break the police barriers.

why won't trump answer questions under oath?   and why does he order everyone to not cooperate with the investigation?

I don’t know why he won’t answer questions. Maybe for the same reason the fbi won’t answer the questions, the answers may not be pleasant for either of them.

Do you have any idea why Epps is the lucky one to not face criminal charges?

Committee:  are you an FBI agent or informant?

    Epps:  no

Committee:  ok. case closed.  Thank you for coming.  Get that statement drafted pronto.  Gotta get ahead of this quickly.

I love how he calls Epps nothing but a “protest attendee”.  He’s kinda the main person inciting everyone else to storm the Capitol:facepalm:

But ya, the committee really wants the truth on everything and it’s not political :thumbs

I agree.  I'm not sure why Trump hasn't been charged

Cute, but why not answer the actual question?   Seems like a straightforward one.

So Trump pressured the FBI to use informants to try and overthrow the election and democracy during the insurrection?

Possible, possibly not.   We won’t know till the FBI answers the questions.

Do you think it’s a tad bit strange that a person caught on tape inciting a riot twice is one of the few if only persons not being charged (who they can identify anyway) for their participation in Jan 6th?

Oooooo I'd love to have Rand ask Mr Trump how with his government salary he feels like he can accuse trained professionals that their thinking is wrong.  And to have that yodel from KS ask about Don's financial disclosures ... and those are just the clips I caught today on the fly.

They are insulting as well as stupid.

So I take it you didn’t want to answer the questions I asked earlier

    RELEVANT questions.

Which ones weren’t RELEVANT?  You don’t want to know more about gain of function?  You don’t want to know more about WIV funding from American sources?  You don’t want to know about why Fauci took commands to discredit other scientists (some who have been proven correct?).

Then wouldn't it be nice to have someone asking them that isn't more concerned about grandstanding for his base while everyone else realizes he's an idiot.

Doesn’t matter to me who asks the questions.  They are still the questions no matter who’s mouth they come out of.  Shouldn’t matter to you either

I'm of the opinion that people should not vote against their self-interest. They should educate themselves, stop giving a certain political party a carte blanche pass on literally anything they want to do as long as there's an "R" next to their name, and actually vote on issues, not emotion.

Because until that happens, the Dems can spend billions of dollars in outreach and better naming of bills and it won't matter. Those voters won't give them the time of day if they're a Democrat.

Attention all African Americans.  Here is some good advice for you:  quickly taking the blue pill which has kept many in your communities dependent on the governments tata’s.  Open your eyes and ears, take the red pill and actually vote for yourself and not far left liberal elites.

Rand Paul isn't interested in him answering questions.  He's grandstanding for his base and to get more donations.  Fauci handled it how he should have.

No, Fauci should have answered the relevant questions.   Questions many of us would like answers to.

This is definitely a much better take than say…”some cop pulled a person from a wrecked plane, therefore we shouldn’t focus too much on cops wrongfully imprisoning and killing people.”

You know, if that were actually someone’s approach to the conversation…

Who said that?  Certainly wasn’t me:dunno  yet you constantly try and do this.

It’s a Georgie Floyd protest and police conduct thread ya know.

I don't think any HB regulars have claimed that Trump was not legitimately elected.  However, some have questioned "how" he became legitimately elected.  Same as I don't think any of our conservative posters have said Biden wasn't legitimately elected but they did raise some questions about things they felt were odd.

    From a few pages back:dunno

And to answer you - yeah, I do think that if it's proven by multiple agencies that another country did impact our election outcome, and the popular vote was significantly different than the electoral college, I'd probably agree he was not legitimately elected BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE.

Agreed.  I'm expecting Joseph (and Whipple) to help with more efficient WR routes.  Some of the problems, in addition to slow decision making, and late throws, I feel were slow crossing routes (short mid range).  Thompson will get rid of quick, but we could use better routes imo.

    Yep on all
