Farniok is cumbersome. Slow feet. Impressed with Iowa's LB' lateral speed. They appear to close on runners much quicker than our LB's. Of note on the Iowa TD, Williams literally got picked by Payne. Everyone was supposed to slant to their left and Payne just submarined his guy which not only took him out of the play, but blocked Williams too.

Payne didn't play the slant which left the gap. Damn....

Kudos to AM and RJ on that series. Well done boys....

Not sure what you've been watching but our D has been playing the run, the best. I would be much more concerned if they called 30 straight crossing routes.

Just another shout out to the defense. In a normal world our defense would get 80 yards of field to defend after our kickoffs. The fact they're starting with only getting 70 after all these pooch kicks puts them in a significant disadvantage. Kudos to Rogers....nice way to end the half boys!

It wasn't a pretty finish by AM but he showed great ball protection by keeping the ball wrapped up. Kudos on that discipline. Love how they de-riskes the call with that.

I think it was Stille who was closing on QB and Iowa OT grabbed a big mitt full of jersey to slow him down and allowed QB to escape pocket and get positive yards.
