It's a snap shot.  Just because he is not shooting mid-range shots in his film does not mean he cant.

That's true also.  All I ever said was he isn't a offense type big man which he isn't.  Nebraska will have the length in the post but my personal belief is Morgan and Mast are better offense post players and we don't even know if Mast is coming back yet.

Not everyone can be a big scorer.  He is a roll player who can rebound & protect the rim.

True but I didn't say he had to be a big scorer.  Just saying if your looking for the big man in the post to score to get you a couple of points in the paint it's not him.

No. He's certainly the favorite according to fans and the media.

Remains to be seen if the rest of the team is good enough for DR to succeed without the threat of the QB run and option. Can the OL protect and the receivers get open against B1G defenses?

And it also remains to be seen is are the running backs good enough to gain more then a 1,000 yards.

    Just committed to KSU

Dang that sucks.  Would have been the home run hitter that we needed.  Is it me or does all of our rb's look slow? Even Dante Dowdell didn't look fast on his td run.  Looks like our running back may have some athleticism but overall speed it seems HH is faster then the whole room which is very telling.

  5. While I did enjoy the spring game the thing I question is how much did we actually get better?  Yes you practice to not make mistakes but really it was just a glorified practice.  There were multiple defensive starters held out and no blitzes and the qb's couldn't get hit or tackled so it's hard to judge how we are going to look during our first game.  I understand that DR looked awesome throwing the ball and HH looked improved but we need to have the improvements show up when it matters so don't know what to take away from the spring game except thank for putting on a show for us the fans.

    I can’t imagine he’s played very much.  But I don’t know.

I heard he is just as good as his brother but maybe it's the height the recruiting services are judging him by.  Just thought he would be ranked as a 4 star qb bc of all the hype surrounding him.

No QB is coming here to be #2!!!!!!

I'm not saying they would have come here to be #2 right away bc you never know what is going to transpire during spring and fall camp.  DK took a back seat to DR after he committed here.  Im just saying all the qb's weren't good enough last year they should have brought three qb's in to compete for the job instead of allowing HH to still play qb when we all know he is best suited for a different position.  If DK would have committed else where then it forces Nebraska to go find a qb bc you would have only had 2 scholarships qb's on your roster.  I feel like DK will redshirt, HH will be the number 2 and DR will start barring any injuries.  I still don't like that move bc HH can run the ball but when it comes to his passing he can't make the accurate throws that count and when defenses take away the run game then it puts all the offensive on his shoulders which clearly he couldn't handle last year when giving the opportunity to lead.

I've seen him play, and I too never believe the stuff that they say anymore.  No offense to HH at all, but he simply should not be at that position.  The fact that we still have him there and at number 2 is not a good sign, but DK gets a pass for being a freshman.  He isn't at #2 out of being good, he's simply the second best option right now.  If DR gets hurt we are in a world of trouble again, especially when they are wanting to sling the ball all over the place moving forward it seems.

That's why I thought they should have went after another qb last recruiting cycle instead of just adding 2.  MR is putting all his faith into Dylan and rightfully so but as we seen throughout the years there is a significant dropoff in qb play if the starter get hurt.  I'm in the same believe with @runningblind

    This seems hard to believe.

I guess unless the drill was to start the offense at the 1 yard line and see what they could do.

That doesn't sound great about the defense, though. Not one, but two 99-yard drives? Meh.

Especially if that TE can't pass who is playing qb.
