Im sorry I feel so strongly on my opinions. We all want the Huskers to succeed just we all have a different approach on how to get there.

And thats not my opinion on the firing its Husker fans that feel that way.

I will give credit where credit is due TA if I remember correctly didn't make a smart decision not firing SF last season bc of his performance. Now I know what your going to say is that I was one of the few that supported SF till the end and I can admit I was wrong bc look at what kind of sh*tshow we have delt with this season. Could we have had better results this season bc of a new coach who knows but there wouldn't be that much pressure on MJ to win with what he has to work with now.

Im just going off of what Nebraska's track record of hiring past coaches.

I didnt say that just dont feel like Matt Campbell gives Nebraska the best chance to succeed. You will see how long it takes to succeed or doesn't and so will I. I just don't see how Matt Campbell can or will get it turned around here just bc he has had some success at Iowa State.

The only reason why I feel that if he did hire Campbell as the coach or he zeroed in on him is bc I feel that there are better suited candidates out there.

Well if he hires Campbell I'm thinking that he went with someone that bets fits his morals or knows the area more so then someone outside the general area. Matt Campbell is a good coach I just dont think he will ever bring us to the top or let alone keep us there. That's my opinion if you feel that he can cool beans. The Nebraska job has alot to offer just everyone dogs Nebraska bc they haven't won so just be so called happy with whoever Trev decides. Also do you honestly feel that the two borderline coaches aren't zeroed in bc of the media influence I do. Not once have I heard a name other then the three candidates that the media put out there while husker fans have put numerous other coaches out there. Not saying that any of the other names would come but it be nice to hear names other then Campbell, Leipold, or O'Brien.

And Im joking about firing him, I just would like him to do not focus on just one head coach.

Or are you Red Five Guess we SHOULD FIRE TREV Then. I know he is in a tough position bc he is the face of Nebraska right now. Your Damned if you do or Damned if you don't.

Im right with you!!!!! Other then Urban Meyer and Aranda not much excitement for other candidates.

Its not set in stone that Urban Meyer isn't coming just yet. I will hold out hope he is still on our radar.

The thing i took away from that was they know that Husker fans have to back the next hire.

And which search firm is that? How many search firms are out there? Is there one that stands out(reputation) more then the rest?? How do you know that its the same search firm please do share

I just threw a name out. Only reason why is bc he is a former college coach with high success. Not saying its a reality for him to come here but we NEED THE BASKETBALL PROGRAM TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE TOO.

Would would make you think Mike O'Shea be on Nebraska head coaching list??? Why would Nebraska even get a coach from the CFL? How would he even know where to start in recruiting? How could he even relate to bringing kids in to the program?

Well at least we have one Husker fan that would show support to the hire of Bill O'Brien.

I want to believe that Fred Hoiberg can turn it around but the basketball product has been has bad as the football product. If he does get fired, are their any basketball college coaches you would hope Nebraska goes after or any preferred names??? We don't talk much about Nebraska basketball bc they really haven't been all that relevant since Danny Nee and not alot of success in that sport as well. Any suggestions??? Brad Stevens just a name off the top of my head.

Yeah and what does throw the kitchen sink at them mean??? I know it involves money but does it include anything else??

For the most part Husker Nation would be more then ecstatic to have him. The only thing thing I've heard negative about him is sample size.
