To all those having problems with the radio stream. You might have to update your windows media player. When I opened the audio window it said to update it by clicking on some link that came up. I updated and restarted my lap top and it worked. Hopefully that helps, that was my experience.

I finally got my radio stream to work. I had to update my windows media player and then restart my laptop to get it to run but it finally is.....just in time to hear w.michigan score

I can't get the live radio from huskers.com to work and i am freakin out. Anyone have any ideas how to get it goin?

I feel ya man....the anticipation is killing me!!! I can't wait for tomorrow.... I am really trying to hold back and just witness everything tomorrow with an open mind but truly I hope we come out and DOMINATE LIKE THE OLD DAYS!!!! GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!

Hey guys I'm just wondering if we are gonna be able to see more videos from the teams fall camp?? Is there any place to see the practice vids if they're not posted on here? That practice vid of coach ekeler and the linebackers got me really pumped!! I gotta see more!!!

I think Coach Carl Pelini will distribute the blackshirts as he sees fit and it will really depend on performance and most of all EFFORT this year. Honestly, I am not really worried about seeing players play without fire like last year because of Coach Bo and the rest of the staff....they are all really intense dudes.

I am very glad I saw this post about Wald. Out of the videos I watched for incoming recruits Wald's was the one I watched over and over again and showed to my friends. He was a monster in high school, just knocking people flat out. I think he weighs in at 205 right now and I wouldn't mind seeing him putting a little more weight on. I will be fine with it if he gets red shirted this year. I would hate to waste a year of his talent on special teams units or mop up duty cause I feel we already have capable players to do that. I want this kid to stay around for awhile and grow into one of the fiercest and intimidating safeties in all of college football. He is gonna be knocking people out in a couple years.

I don't know why but I always had a good feeling about Watson and felt like Callahan never really let him break out and do what he could do. Maybe Callahan was worried about Watson showing him up play calling wise, who knows.....Anyways I was thrilled to hear Watson was retained and I would not be surprised if he became the next big assistant coach to be talked about for a head coaching spot in a couple years.

I have always thought that Callahan has a great offensive mind, he just didn't know how to coach college football. This is just another prime example. I cannot wait for this season to start!!!

Yes I know there has been a million of these predictions being thrown around and yes I know that camp has not even started, but I have read a million predictions from regular people like me to so called "experts" and I feel it is now my turn to put out a completely meaningless prediction. Preface: I will say that my love for the Huskers flows strongly through my veins and like every other fan believe that they will win the national championship every year BUT I did in my best effort to put all that aside and look at this as unbiased as possible and break this schedule down like I would be breaking down, say, Penn State. Ok here it goes. Call me a homer or whatever but I honestly look at the schedule Nebraska has, with 5 straight home games to begin the season, and can see this team 5-0 after the Missouri game. I am a firm believer in home field, court, stadium etc. advantage and this young team and young coaching staff having their first 5 games at home will equate to more wins than losses. Now if it were split like 3 at home 2 on the road or vice versa this team would definitely be 3-2 probably. We all know how traveling can take alot out of ya but staying at home can benefit you even more. Mark my words 4-1 after the mizzou game with the loss coming to va tech or mizzou. That takes us to the next part of the schedule 2 straight away games first at T.Tech then at Iowa state and then home against Baylor. I don't know what it is about Texas Tech, they aren't a power house program and don't win the conference or BCS games, but something about Tech and the Huskers never really mix well. I think Tech scares me more than Oklahoma does to be honest. Passing teams vs. the Huskers scare the crap outta me. Loss vs. Tech then rebound with a win vs. another embarrassing Iowa State team. Baylor rolls into Lincoln next and honestly I can see them putting up a little fight in a losing effort. I just have that gut feeling about Baylor. Maybe its gas, I dunno. Anyways Huskers 6-2 heading to Oklahoma. Ahhh the Oklahoma rivalry is restored. Pelini will have the guys pumped and ready to play and will probably, minus the Va. Tech game, give his best coaching performance of the year. The Huskers will lose a closer than expected game though. Oklahoma is gonna be TOUGH this year, a lot of talent coming back. Next we head back to Lincoln to take on Kansas and I don't know about anyone else but I am really really sick of the talk about Kansas and how they are going to be so good again. In my honest opinion I believe Kansas was the biggest fluke in recent college football history, ya ya they put together a tremendous season but seriously, its KANSAS. I thoroughly expect a trouncing of Kansas this year in Lincoln. Hell I expect Kansas to get beat A LOT this year. Huskers 7-3 after whooping Kansas like old times. Next the Huskers head to Kansas State. I see this as a tough game, not because KState is any good, but because the team was so amped for the rematch with Kansas that they are kinda deflated for this game and lack some serious energy at Manhattan. I still think the Huskers will win but it will be closer than expected because lets be real, KState sucks. Nebraska 8-3 heading to Thanksgiving. So this is where I will become unpopular among some Husker fans. As much as I despise Colorado and Dan F'n Hawkins I think the Huskers just may drop this game. For some unknown reason, Colorado pulls this game outta their hindparts and wins in Lincoln. I know I know tough to even think about but I just have a uneasy feeling about this Colorado team. Nebraska 8-4 at seasons end. Bowl game is a toss-up, who knows who we'll play but we'll whoop'em Pelini doesn't lose Bowl games at Nebraska. Ok there it is, my meaningless probably completely wrong prediction but I just had to do it. Seriously though, this team has the potential to be 9-3, I believe talent is there and always has been its just the coaching that needs to catch up. The worst I can see it is 7-5, but for people to say 5-7 or 6-6 is absolutely absurd. Nebraska will rise up this year and squelch the doubters. GO Huskers!!!

I guess I am kinda confused by this question??? When you talk about commentator do you mean guys that actually commentate games? cause that would be only Fowler, Herbstreit, and sometimes Corso on this list. Now who is the most overrated analyst might be the better question with this list of choices. Ivan Maisel Beano Cook Kirk Herbstreit Pat Forde Mark Schlabach Lee Corso Chris Fowler Anyways my vote would be for Mark May definitely, it doesn't matter what year it is or what kind of talent any team has he always thinks USC will win the national championship and the current USC team is the best team of all time. Holtz is pretty bad too, always pickin ND to win the title. I guess I give Holtz a lot more credit than Herbstreit though, at least Holtz is willing to acknowledge his bias for ND while Herbstreit plays his bias for Ohio State off like no one notices how much of a homer he is.

I have truly mixed feelings about this situation. I applaud Coach Pelini for protecting his players, especially when a person charged with a crime has not formally gone through the legal system. But, this situation sounds very very similar to Coach Gundy's reaction last year at Okie State. I would caution Pelini in acting out in this way ever again in fear of pissing the press off for good. I believe their needs to be a mutual respect between the athletic department and the press because explosions like this one will never look good for the department and the program will never ever be able to control the press. Coach Pelini has a program to represent and cannot afford to be lambasted in the press all the time cause he pissed some people off at DN or wherever. It's a fight he can't win so tred lightly coach. With that said, I am PUMPED for the spring game!!!

My dad and I just ordered our tickets and will be coming shortly. We are driving to Lincoln from Ohio for this game. I can't wait!!!! The place is gonna be rockin!!!!

I would say.... "Bo keep doin' what you know is best and what you know works. It's gonna take time to fix the problems within the program that has been left by the previous coaching staff. Don't get too frustrated with the high expectations from us Husker fans who think the sky is falling because some jackass player decided to get arrested. I have full faith in you and your coaching ability and cannot wait for fall. I know deep down you are the right man for the job and you will kick start this program sooner than many people think."

Hey you know what who cares? Way to lighten up and celebrate Bo....You sure as hell deserve it. I'm actually kinda happy to see that this guy has a human and normal side to him. Anyone think Callahan woulda gone out and celebrated with his team??? I kinda doubt it. The dude seemed to have a stick up his butt and I sensed he thought he was better than everyone. Bo Pelini is a normal person and one hell of a football coach. Go ahead Bo, HAVE A FEW MORE!!!

Do not worry about recruits right now. Coach Pelini will make it work some way or another. I'm not worried about this years recruiting class so much cause I truly believe that we have enough talent on the team right now to be a very very good football team with the right coaching. Now next year if the recruiting class sucks then we have a major problem..... Please please put your faith in Pelini....he is a hell of a coach and how could any player not want to play for a guy that's defense did what it just did to Ohio State and the so-called college football God Jim Tressel. I am excited as hell for the 08 season. Recruits or not.

Being from Ohio I would definitely like to see Ohio State win, but of course with Coach Pelini coaching LSU's defense it puts me in a slight predicament. I dont want LSU to win but I dont want Ohio state to roll up 35 on Pelini's defense cause that will not look good for the Huskers new coach. So I have decided to root for Ohio State to win 3-0 on a last second field goal after LSU's offense just turned it over in the last seconds of the game...... Go Ohio State!!! But Go LSU's defense!!! Oh man I don't know what to do................

I don't think we should get all worked up about anything ESPN says about Coach Pelini or his assistants. I'm gonna guess that ESPN didn't give someone like Bob Stoops or even somebody like Jim Tressel coming to Ohio State from a D-1AA school high grades and that has all worked out well. In my opinion I don't really think the "experts" at ESPN really know anything behind Coach Pelini or his staff.

Finals week has really been kickin my a$$ here at school so I've been outta the loop about assistant coaches for the past couple days. I'm just wondering if there has been any confirmed assistant coaches by Pelini or Osborne or any official announcement about the staff recently?

Yeah I believe he was the one who said he was not contacted for the Nebraska job, but who knows. Like I said thats just what I heard.

I am friends with a girl who's father is an assistant coach at Cincinnati and according to her, Cincinnati's head coach Brian Kelly was interviewed for the job....thats just what I know. Take it or leave it for fact.
