That's what I kept saying... USC could be 3rd & 40, and they would still get a first down... Just toss it to #8 and they're golden... Or run it to the outside. USC was so fast & refined it wasn't even funny. Our backs may have just been statues.

DVR is the best thing since the invention of TV itself... (ok, it's good, but who knows). I had Time Warner Cable, now I have Dish Network. Both DVR's work basically the same, but Dish Networks is a bit easier to find shows that you want to record. I press the "search" button & it brings up a virtual keyboard. I type in the words "College Football" and you can have it record EVERY game, or just a certain number of games, or even just specific ones. It's nice coming home from work every day and finding ANOTHER new game recorded on ESPN Classic or something. I have it record Family Guy, Venture Brothers, Everybody Loves Raymond (for the wife) & others. You can even record one show, while watching another channel OR another show you have recorded already. I tend to hear quite a few people say that. Kind of like the Red Sox hear in the Midwest. They win and everyone has a Sox hat Or Longhorns gear... I've been seeing quite the number people wearing Longhorn stuff lately.

I think its worth a shot, who do we have for next year? I don't think Ganz or Davis is the answer (could be wrong), and Witt won't be ready next year (assuming he signs), that leaves Hildebrand who is a total unknown. Had good stats coming out of hs, but did nothing at OSU and was hurt after 5 games at his juco. I'm not saying this guy is going to come in and put up godlike numbers, but he is another option and will increase competition. His stats for last year were impressive though, 2000+ yards in what 7 games or so. It also buys some time to get another qb in here next year, hopefully 2, a juco and another hs, so they can be groomed and be ready to play. I guess the more the merrier. We'll have to see how everything pans out... But it seems like we're going to be ok with our QB situation for next year. Now, all we need is to snag another HS QB.

Dang it... Hamstrings can be a "pain" Although mine have always healed fairly quickly whenever they got hurt... Within a week or so. that is, if it's a "MINOR" injury.
