  1. I don't really see it, but I know feelings are still raw after the official jobbing that Nebraska got when they played A&M on our final bout in the Big 12. My impression is that NU seems to hate Texas way more than A&M. Maybe I misread your comment.
  2. Y'all talk a lot about cheating, especially in the SEC. Y'all will love this. It's a GREAT article (but very long) FYI, A&M doesn't have a Waffle House, so this isn't us http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2014/4/10/5594348/college-football-bag-man-interview
  3. Did he... Say how excited he was? That he filled the needs of the team? That talent is part of the equation and it's time to coach them up? Did I miss anything?
  4. I know A&M isn't the only program to do this, but I love these types of stories.

  6. They followed the rules. Big deal. Teams do it all the time by back counting. Good for UT to get the players they need...they suck.
  7. Once Briles leaves, Baylor will be back to being Baylor. Still can't believe Texas didn't back a Brinks truck up to his house and give him the job. He was the smart hire. Hell, he made BAYLOR competitive. BAYLOR.
  8. That's funny. Unfortunately, the internet DOES bring out the worst in people. At least we know that a Huskerboard meltdown is not unique to Nebraska. We ALL do it
  9. Of course they don't. It's why they aren't scheduling A&M either. The current conference is pretty weak. Currently, only Baylor, OSU, and OU are any good. If you run the table in that conference, you get a shot at the MNC. The same will hold true for the playoff. Why jeopardize that by scheduling a GOOD B1G or SEC team? It's also why they don't have a CCG.
  10. I can't imagine staying in that dumpster fire of a conference.
  11. OUs problem is they are tethered to OSU. While any number of conferences would be happy to have OU, OSU is a different story.
  12. Thanks. Sometimes it's tough to remember these are 18 year olds making a decision for themselves, and it's not about us. Hell, the orangebloods thread on the Alaka flip is HILARIOUS. It's true meltdown mode over there.
  13. Nice pickup by the Huskers. Sorry to see him go that way, but best of luck to the young man.
  14. The Big 12 will ALWAYS be a substandard conference as long as Texas is running things. There is obviously a pecking order, and the schools that could get away, did. When Nebraska, Colorado, A&M, and Mizzou left, it took a chunk out of their viewership and quality. They replaced those schools with WVU and TCU? Are you kidding?
  15. Well...Call back when you have a trophy named after one of your lineman.. I didn't realize having a trophy named after someone who played 30 YEARS AGO was that much of a recruiting tool for current O-Linemen. I am simply saying that right now, A&M is putting lots of offensive linemen into the league and that we are very deep right now.
  16. Something doesn't add up High school kid who is unsure? Gave one service one answer and maybe changed his answer a little for another?
  17. I'm just trying to give y'all a picture of the A&M side of things.
  18. A&M will put a Top 5 Tackle in the draft for a 2nd year in a row, and next year will probably have the 3rd. Our O-Line has been one of the best in the country for the past several years and we are deeper there than any other position. Maybe "lack of depth" was a bad phrase. Perhaps, I should have mentioned that he will LIKELY have the opportunity to play sooner at Nebraska. And most recruiters worth their salt work their tails off. It's what makes them good, and Sumlin and Anderson are great as well. I'm simply saying most people have this as a toss-up.
  19. Here's what I'm hearing. People who are "plugged in" on both sides are pretty confident he signs with them. At this point, it's pretty well a huge tossup where he goes. Why he likes A&M: Feels much more comfortable with coaches and players Why he likes Nebraska: Lack of depth and a bigger chance of playing early
  20. He is an Aggie Legacy and will be in town for our first junior day. I would classify this as a long shot for the Huskers.
  21. I think this entire series paints youth football in a bad light. This is not typical behavior.
  22. Certainly a classier move than Marcel Yates snakinjg A&M's best S prospect by promising him a better career at....Boise St....than A&M. Poor kid. For the record, A&M needs decent CBs pretty bad right now.
