Hey I was here before last years game and had a great time chatting. Just wanted to stop by for a minute. I just wanted to post that I think that game was not as bad as it seemed. Remember, JDB is supposedly a heisman candidate QB and he only got 140 yds passing or something, and the game was close for a long time, and Nebraska was leading at one point. For a team that was called "maybe the best ever" by Harbaugh, USC didn't do all that well vs. Nebraska. I think it was just some bad breaks for the huskers, like the INT by the USC DE Kyle Moore. The only thing that concerned me was the huge holes the USC RB's had in the line..but if I remember right Nebraska has a whole bunch of new guys on the D-line. Nice pictures of Jerry Tagge before the game The 2 USC kids are OK, one has a concussion and the other just got hit in the throat and will be fine in a few days. And to reply to Hank, who had a good observation..... They have a little bit of an attitude problem out there.....I believe he was right they probably took Nebraska a little lightly...well you know what though, bit them in the as* in the UCLA game...maybe they will be a little more mature in 2007........

we are losing our Center, who has started for 3 years, and the right tackle. Right tackle, no loss......the center was a good guy and we are looking at putting Jeff Byers in his place. Jeff Byers was some like #1 OL in high school, but he has never played Center. I am interested to see how it is going to work......hahaha Hope there aren't too many botched snaps.....

yeah I don't know what happened between the UCLA loss and the Rose Bowl...they must of changed the Gatorade or something......hahaha

gonna go read some more stories and the stats of how LSU beat the crap out of Notre Dame......

Hey everyone go Big Red ! irving Fryar #1 Husker WR I haven't been on here in a long time I didn't want to bother you guys/gals. Isn't it great that Notre Dame got the crap kicked out of them? hahah Hate that school. Oklahoma lost the "game of the decade" vs BSU! hahashahahahahah even more!! Next year USC comes to Lincoln, hate to say it but we will be breaking in 2 new WR and it's tough to win in Lincoln..I got that penciled in as a loss.. but you can still be NC at 11-1 Anyway, everyone was very nice to me when I was here before the game last year, just wanted to say hello hope that is OK.

Yeah I wasn't trying to be a dick to Texas I don't mind Texas....I like all college football teams except maybe Oklahoma, not real fond of Miami of Florida, either, but mostly only hate that "team" in South Bend which shall not be named......

haha well put husker Rob... Well thanks for the high respect for USC...we just lost our starting FB for the year. So, we have now lost our starting FB, one of the safeties, one of the CB, our starting TB, and our QB has a gimpy back...... I am sure all you guys are right I am being too harsh on them I am sure they will have a good year.

Ok first of all don't you hate Oklahoma?? Anyway, I am getting tired of watching BASEBALL GAMES! I wish the season would start...there is nothing better than that nail biting, saturday afternoon college football game...sorry couldn't give a crap about soccer or baseball or whatever sport... I would say the same thing Maxim doesn't know anything about sports...that article was written by one of their photogs who was tired of snapping pics of naked women... Kinda hard to see Woody Hayes and Tom Osborne as worst coach..consdering how much they won...I can possiblly see Woody Hayes since punching the other teams player is way out of line..but Osborne? What did Knight do that was so bad? Maxim writers are here to follow the status quo and probably think "desperate housewives" is a good show...hahah

What does everyone think of the BCS? I am not in favor of a playoff system, I know I am in the minority. A playoff system will hurt the kids' studies and drag the season out way too long. I think the BCS is bad, but at least it gets the #1 and #2 teams to play each other. Before that, college football was run by spots journalists and their polls. And they always voted for the same teams--michigan, Ohio St. Miami, Florida St,.....yeah.. USC too..hahaha. And that's not right. I am probably the only human being in the USA who defends the BCS...haha..but I just would hate to see a playoff system.

One thing I think alot of Husker fans don't know is that Dana X Bible coached at Lincoln in the early 1930's. He was one of the founders of modern american college football. Also, the player with the coolest name ever in football played at Nebraska...I.M.Hipp )) I remember him when I was younger. all husker team

Hey gin! No worries, anyone from the opposing team who wants to post on your board has to be held under suspicion...I am sure on our USC site if some ND fan came on they would get some strange looks. Yep, also I am happy to get on my soapbox about the Beatles...hehe This is really going to be a great year. I was at my buddies today, we went in on an HDTV and wireless surround sound system for the college football season this year. Everyone has their holes...ND has no defense, Ohio St. lost their back 7, Penn St. lost their entire O-line, QB and RB and are switching from a read option to a Pro drop back attack, USC has no experience, Oklahoma just lost Rhett Bomar..etc.. I hope Nebraska can fix their weakness, which is lack of a running game. That's about it...and they have Marlon Lucky...from California. I remember watching the recruiting battle for him, and wished he would of gone to USC. That guy is great...get him going and Big red will have all the bases covered. And don't ya hate Notre Dame and Oklahoma ? hahaha
