what I cant stand about Musburger(besides his blatant bias against us) is that the man has NO CLUE when it comes to sports. I was watching chiefs a few years back and they went for a 2 point conversion, and he was talking about it, and then said " and this is of course worth 3 points in college". thought for sure it was a joke, but no one laughed and he just went on talking......

there d is hurting too. they are missing there starting DT(who has been called the heart of there defense by some of there fans), saftey, and there MLB is questionable. I think to much is being made of the size difference with our db's and their wr's. I think we will get burnt some, but if we dont have at least one pick I will be shocked. I think they will have a horrible time with our front 7, and booty will be putting some up for grabs.

this is an interesting look at the game. I find it interesting how quickly they discount our defense though. the comment about USC having a "have a profoundly stronger defense" made me laugh. unless they are talking about an NFL team no one has a D that much better than us. to me thats what everyone who is not a husker fan will be shaking there head about after the game. I think our D is going to blow them up a time or 2.

the game is at 5 pm. we will be in cardinal i dont expect more than 15-20k nebraska fans most of you will be in sections 1-2 26-27 and some in the endzones

While we are clearly seeing the glass as being half full, It just strikes me as strange the so many people that would be be anti-nebraska. If you look at my post I pointed out BOTH the positive and the negative. now if a life long Husker fan who had several of his close friends play for NU can see this, why can't they? I guess I should be happy that so many people are so oblivious to our potential.

how is that people that bash this team will readily point out the "facts" that we beat colorado and michigan teams that had given up, and were one of the worse michigan teams in a while, but forget to point out that michigan is highly ranked in the preseason? why do they point out that we were "lucky" to beat "poor" iowa state and k-state teams, but forget that we got unlucky when we lost to very good t-tech and ok teams?? clearly anyone thats points out the 1st point of either item, and not the second is either jaded, or stupid.

I dont want to scare you guys, but a hamstring can be a real pain. besides being a husker fan, I am a new york mets fan. If you followbaseball at all you know that they have one of the best yound SS in baseball buy the name of jose reyes. this kid is just silly fast. his first few years at newyork he could hardly paly because of hamstring issues. he's finnaly healthy now, but i'll be honest with you, I still am worried every time he hits a triple. hopefully this will not be anywhere as bad as his.
