Big Sports 590 has stated that he has just put in paperwork to take classes at Nebraska. Supposidly he is visiting both Nebraska and Oklahoma today and will decide possibly as early as tonight

How is QB not our biggest need next year? It will be the only position we will not be returning anyone with game experience. The secondary will get better with the return or Bowman, Grixby and Jones and as long as we don't have anyone leave early we will still be stacked at LB. QB next year will be our biggest question mark.

Agreed... Tom made the tough choice by keeping Lawernce on the field but it was the right choice. By keeping Lawerence on the field it hopefully kept him out of even worse trouble, sadly it wasn't enough to keep him straight in the NFL.

Can someone please give me a legit reason why they don't want this kid? The reason that we will only be here one year is weak. Him being here for a year is a huge plus because without him next year we would be going into the year without any QB with D-1 experience. Also someone on the board stated it would hurt Witt's developement? WHAT!!! Give the freshmen a year to sit and learn, remember how everyone said Beck was gonna come in and start as a freshmen, give the kid a break and don't put so much pressure on him... let him EARN the position. Also saying you feel bad for Ganz is nice but when it comes to major college football feelings need to be put aside, I don't know Ganz at all but I am sure he is a nice guy and Keller could be a nice guy or he could be a prick, but when it comes down to winning games I am guessing every player on that team would want the guy with a proven track record out there leading them. If everyone wants us to get back to the top of the Big 12 and back in BCS games we need players with talent, and there is a good chance we are going to steal one. Be happy we are getting him and stop trying to find reasons why we don't want him. Remember these transfers... Zac Taylor, Scott Frost, Vince Ferragamo... not saying Keller has earned the right to be in that class yet, but they all transfered here and are beloved Husker QB's. So until you judge the kid give him a chance, because if he comes and is the man next year, everyone that was saying how the didn't know if they wanted him will be on this board posting about how great of a steal we got.

Brady Quinn will lose three-four games this year If he doesn't, look out. What 3 or 4 games do you see them losing?

Don't get ahead of yourself. I think Zac is an amazing QB and I bleed Husker red but I also what is a far stretch. I think Zac is defiatnly a top 20 player in the country and we have a legit shot at USC and Texas, however I don't see him winning the Hiesman trophy simply because of the talent of other players, namely one player in our own conference... Adrian Peterson. At the end of the year I do see Zac as being first team all Big 12

I wouldn't. Ganz and Witt are potential for our future. Keller would be a one-year plugin that will only hurt Ganz's and Witt's development. I believe I should include Hildebrand in this list too, because he has three years to play three, if I recall. How would it hurt Witt's developement. Dude will be a freshmen he'll need a year to take in the playbook. Also the Hillenbrand kid hasn't proven anything yet and neither has Ganz. If we can get in a proven division 1 QB why wouldn't we. If we want to be back to where we used to be these are the kinds of moves that help with that process

We need to have the best players on the field and if Keller can only be here for one year, but will be better then any other QB we have then why not get him? If this guy is as good as he looks to be, he could be a huge puzzle piece next year

If we can get him it would be huge... we will be even better next year then this year. Bowman, Grixby and Jones back. McKeon, Rudd and Octavien, Turner and Potter, Suh. All the major wide outs and running backs and a very strong core of offensive linemen! If we can bring him in and he can learn the playbook we would be in very good shape!

Brandon's stats two years ago as a freshmen - 85 carries for 396 yards and 6 TD's... was tied with Ross who also had 6 TD's. Averaged 4.6 a carry. This was way back in the David Horne days... Horne that year - 12 carries for 36 yards.

Don't count out Brandon Jackson. We haven't seen practice at all so no one knows what goes behind closed doors. Many in the media say Jackson is the as good if not better then any back we have... he just hasn't been healthy. Remember he played quite a bit 2 years ago and ran well. The first two games will be what decides who is the dominate back as the coaches will give each back their shot at it if they are so close right now.

I believe these situations are totally different. This kid has actually started and played major college football and was already named the starter this year! Beck just expected everything to be given to him and never worked at it. I believe this kid has worked and has showed that he has talent to play at this level. Is it a bold move to leave... yes.... but if you had started as many games as him and were named the starter and then turn around and find out you aren't.... wouldn't you be a little sourer too?

I just called and the first three games are available... they are not open now, since it is past 5 but you can listen to the machine and it does give you the information. Office opens tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.

Last I knew the University has tickets available to the first three home games LA Tech, Troy and Nicholls State games. Often during non-conference games the other team sends back tickets they don't sell. The university then turns and sells these to anyone. I have sat in the visitor section before and to tell you the truth it usually mostly Husker fans. Last year they were $55 a ticket... so anyone wanting to get to a game, call up the ticket office... 1-800-8BIGRED.

I talked to Andre at fan day and he was very confident that he was ready, I told him not to rush it because we need him 100% healthy by USC and he said no worries, he's 100% now. I also talked to Big Steve and I asked how we was feelings... simply he said "Believe me... I am ready". Just how he said it gave me a chill. The man is gonna blow it up this year.

They were just talking about him and sports nightly and it sounds like NU, Oklahoma and Colorado are in the mix. Supposidly Callahan knows the kids dad and CU has an in because their QB coach used to be at ASU and helped recruit him there. They're speculating he'll decide in next 48 hours.

Or her boyfriend will be smart and bring a fellow Husker fan and not his girlfriend who cares nothing for the game. My girlfriend will go to a game or two a year and she will atleast cheer for the team... cause I am pretty sure she knows if she didn't she would have a long walk back to Wayne... about 2 hours north of Lincoln. Oh and she is going to USC with me, but I think she wants to go for more then just the game... California might have a little to do with it

Oh trust me I will be cheering plenty loud. I am as passionate as they come.. I made a girl cry last year and really wasn't that sorry. During the K-State game she kept watching the score board and cheering for the Texas score. I turned and told her if she wanted to watch the game so bad go home and let a real fan enjoy something that she obviosly wasn't

I just hope when we visit Manhattan he gets a free shot at Freeman... snap the punk in half

Oh and I don't have the other part of the ticket booklet in the picture just because I couldn't wait to take the tickets apart and pair them up. Plus I am missing out on one game, let a buddy of mine by the Nicholls State tickets.
