How about we get rid of Colorado, pick up TCU you for the South, and move Oklahoma to the North division? Let the puffaloes go play in the Sun Belt or Mountain West... Then I wouldn't have to hate Colorado so much.

My line of thought is not to redshirt him, but rather redshirt Whitt. Keller is used to competition (obviously at ASU) and we need a strong backup in case something happens to him (I don't particularly think Ganz or Davis are great prospects for backup). What I hope to see is Keller step in and have a great year next year with Lee getting some reps in blowouts. Lee step in after that for two years, and then have a young guy take over the reigns for a 3-4 year span of time.

Our tailgate for the sCUm game will be a variety of buffalo meat products. Buffalo burgers, buffalo sausage, etc. The best way to tailgate before we watch the Huskers eat them up on the field.

This weekend's game will be a challenge in an difficult atmosphere to play in. However, I'm favoring Nebraska to win by 10. Although I'm partial to the Huskers, I really believe this is how it will turn out assuming Nebraska shows up to play.

Freeman will definitely get his chance to revenge this year's loss to NU. I predict he will be a great threat in each of the games we play against KSU these next 3 years while he's there.

Although more knowledgeable than Benard, I do begin to question their motivations when there are three different accounts started today. All three agreeing with each other and trying very hard to hit on the same points no matter the topic of discussion. There is either a soapbox moment going on or someone believing this is a forum for trying to sway Husker football politics. I welcome a new take and someone challenging the status quo, but I just sense something fishy.

I do think this is an excellent post. Very valid points. Great programs continually work young players in to make sure the very best talent is on the field.

My opinion on Bo Ruud is that he indeed is not the best LB in terms of technique OR natural ability. I DO think he plays with a lot of pride and heart that he learned through being associated with the program. He had a very good game and stepped up to make plays. Without his contribution the game could have had another outcome. He deserves the award. As well, Carriker also had a great game getting in and disrupting the offense on multiple occasions. He is a very talented DE and I'm hoping he keeps up the intensity.
