I think it's safe to assume that any "thinking" opposing Coaching Staff will make adjustments to 1st half injuries, and adjustments to what worked for you in the 1st half. And based on your knowlege of your own Offense, what those Adjustments might be. That's probably why you might see us tending to try different things in the 2nd half along with a few of the things that did work, just to see their adjustments.. It's a chessmatch..And one of the reasons why Fotball is still so entertaining.

exactly the point Man.. I'm Way too homophobic to trust a guy that doesn't like Football, not to dive in my jammies for a loose remote! Do you think all women want you too? I trust a guy who doesn't like football more than one who loves the Buffs. Patience..I'm still learning to be sensitive to that lifestyle. I guess I still assume any guy that doesn't like Football might like to sleep with other guys..Then I made the assumption that any guy that likes to sleep with other guys will bone anything that's not bolted down. Both all-praise and all-complaining are boring and lack sufficient passion. With a mixture of the two, truly honest conversations develop, for many viewpoints may be considered and discussed. That's why I use the search function.. In case I want to find out if anyone started a thread about say..The Intentional offsides penalties that wisconsin used on Kickoffs in the penn State game..Some funny stuff, but how many would know to search for that unless they already saw the replay (like me) and wondered if it was being discussed yet... I started one about it, then couldn't find it for a couple of days because it had been moved to some obscure section bec. I didn't include the word Huskers in my post...I think.. The only way I was able to stumble on it was by searching by author. The thread starter is missing a lot of casual "shoppers" if they have to first know what they are looking for (Eliminating the casual posters..90%?) then determine what section(s) they must look in and which aplication of the Dewy Decimal System is being used by the Moderator that moved it.. Most of the time I look here..I scan the headlines and open up the most interesting sounding ones Only in the Husker Football section 'cause that's my main interest.. Sometimes in the Daily Skin section..Because "Once you see ONE nekid woman..You want to see them all". This is by far the smallest board I've ever posted on (By number of posts/members..factor of 5), yet it has about 4 times as many "compartments"..seems like overkill. Now I'm wondering what I've missed.

I wonder..Do you have TMJ? I read last week about a study on people learning to play the DIDGERIDOO (ABORIGINAL WIND INSTRUMENT) having fewer problems with sleep apnia (due to the tightening of certain throat muscles during play)...I wonder if it would also relieve some TMJ problems... Mine's been getting so bad lately, I've been considering finding my old Football Mouthguard and wearing it at night. Probably still smells/tastes minty.

Walk a mile in their shoes and then your opinion (read bitch) might have some validity. IMO there needs to be some middle ground here. Yes, Nebraska won and I am extremely happy that they won, but that does not mean that the 2nd half, other than the final drive, did not happen. I keep hearing all of this "stop complaining" or "you have never coached" garbage, and it is a direct derivative of a "support the troop" mentality. I can support BC and COZ and still be very dissapointed with some of their decisions. I can LOVE this team and be upset with the way they played in the second half. Whether or not I have coached or played D1 ball is absolutely irrelavant. If this is the criteria of the board, all should post nothing but worthless rhetoric or bantor. Most of the time, I see people's not-so-shiny comments as allegory for how much they want this team to do well (I know some do get rediculous). The way I see it, people's bitching has just as much valitidity as your bitching about their bitching. Is there a "YES MAN" partition on this board? Where only "attaboys" and positive things can be posted, and spitting and eating with your mouth open aren't allowed? Sounds a little DULL, but maybe there's a demographic for it.

The Key will be how we defend against him. We need to be getting taller corners that also want to play Basketball at NU. And develop different pass defense packages to trick him into bad decisions. So what happened with the other QB's we lost recently? Did they just realize that the offense was too complicated for them to master? Or was it just concern over playing time?

Hey Rob.. I was at that "Nineteen ta Nuthin" game too..They still show clips from that game on the local sports shows' commercials and voted it one of the top 3 games that made their program...Plus at least one station replays the whole game every season at some point. I went with my Brother and his two kids..I left my seat a few times to walk the kids to the bathroom and to use bad words, but We stuck around. Probably the last game I went to, though..I think we've lost 4 of the last 5 games I attended..Started to feel like a jinx, meself. I've been known to change shirts or even TV's if we're playing bad just to help us out..Superstitious?

Yeah..It seems to run in cycles..With all teams' boards I've visited. With ours..If we start winning MNC's again..I'll be complainin' about not having enough Walkons or too many season ticket holders sitting on their hands..Or the noisy obnoxious fans embarrasing "True Fans" of the Corn with their poor show of "sportsmanship" while I'm trying to diagram the next play in my head. It never runs out.

Probably impossible to find a team with all their fans on Prozac..(Although you never know about Colorado). It's Human nature for some folks to find something to complain about..What was it Gene Wilder said in "Blazing Saddles" about our people? "This place was settled by the Salt of the Earth..plains people..You know..Morons" or something like that. Just talking to my Mom in Lincoln..I ask how she's doing...Then I get an earful about different Medical conditions and Pains..Ask someone back home "How's the Weather? and instead of "Great!" on a nice day, you'll probably get a " Not Too Bad". The Commentator on Husker Broadcasts.. I really tried to pay attention to him this time..I don't see why so many complain about the radio guys. I usually never even notice them (Which is how it should be). It's fun to hear replays of Bremser (Sounds like a Chainsmoker) but I doubt I'd rather hear him anymore. But it shouldn't be important enough to warrant a gazillion threads wanting another broadcaster. Living in PHX area since 1990, I've been blessed with Husker games on the Radio every weekend..And I'm thankful..except for a couple of times this season when we were preempted by Coyote Hockey games. Almost as bad as listening to Golf on the Radio. ROSE SUCKS!!!!! That is my opinion, some people like him others don't. I do not think we are up to a gazillion threads on that topic yet, but we will get there, I am trying. GBR Haven't seen the polution on this here site yet..But others?...There's got's ta be more than eleventy-twelve of 'em. Kind of like counting the ceiling tiles and letting that dime aized water spot in the SE corner of one drive you crazy

Texas loosing tonight probably eliminated any chance we had at a top ten finnish (Is that even a goal for us anymore?). OU was dead to me this season.. Still trying to get over another Thanksgiving without them, and was looking forward to finnishing what we started in Lincoln with tu.
