I forget if it was a run or a pass, but one of those plays I thought was FOR SURE a touchdown. Can't remember who made the tackle, but he closed five yards on the ballcarrier in about 15 yards of running.

They were both Hartzog making the tackle, iirc.

S&C is doing an excellent job with this staff.  The injuries are happening in offense because of insufficient NIL funds and players being too close to walk ons.

Just need to switch to Nike to fix all this.

We learned that our third string QB isn’t a viable option for the field, otherwise we’d Our OC doesn’t know how to involve our TEs in the passing game—they’re supposedly our best hands but they only get 2-4 balls their way. They should be getting 12-15 attempts per game, minimum. Screens, short out routes, flat routes toward the sideline instead of the middle.

Fidone had 3 rec for 18. Boerkircher 1 for 7. The 2 ints fidone was the intended receiver and I believe he also had a drop. That's 7 out of 17 pass plays.

Fidone was targeted one other time, so actually 8 out 17 pass plays to the tight end.

Just having a 24/7 babysitter is excessive.

Maybe he is offering to be his babysitter. I mean he'd have to be on the sidelines every game to keep him away from the cheerleaders.

When put into perspective not sure how many guys could come back and play both ways after a lacerated kidney a few weeks prior.  You want to say he came back too early perhaps but he still was able to put up big numbers.  Just unreal.

Not saying he came back early at all. Most coaches would try to protect their player and have their best interest in mind by limiting the player to one side of the ball. Saying let him shine on one side of the ball then let him ease back into playing both sides of the ball.

The fact that Hunter not only played but played both ways is incredible.

Might not have been a good idea for him to play both ways. He was the primary defender on Ayomanor who had 13 rec for 294 yds and 3 tds. He also had a crucial penalty that gave Stanford a first down on a 3rd and 22 which Stanford converted into another touchdown.
