  1. Eh. No biggy. But I am sure all the rtards that call into the wanna be Romey show (Harrahs sports sound off) will read into it. Then Tommy Frazier will accuse them of being drunk again. That one was funny, if any of you saw it. He is a political man now and needs to keep his eyes on the right prize which is whatever he decides to run for. He said himself this isn't because of the changes. It seems more of a political move to me. Nail on head.
  2. "You can't melt an icy heart with a warm island song, you r-tard" There are so many, I can't remember them all!!!!!
  3. I would hope they would. You can't work together if you can't communicate!!!
  4. It's hard to say what is going to have in the future. I have yet to find a reliable crytstal ball . I wouldn't say it isn't possible that some of these coaches would be gone in a couple years, but that's a sign that these guys are good and in demand. That's what we want. It would be great if they turned out well and stayed for 10 years, but we all have to accept that the days of coaching 25 years at one place might be gone. Hardcore traditionalists frown upon this of course, but if that's the way they are then that's the way they are. If you can't deal with it, talk to WyomingHusker.
  5. hahaha. I have been lurking lately. More reading than replying but now that things are settling down a bit I can spend more time here .
  6. I don't give a good god damn how he did in front of a crowd at a basketball game. Hell, I would be nervous in front of that many people and I don't blame him for *possibly* being "luke warm". We didn't hire the guy because he was the best public speaker of all time. Who knows? Maybe Peterson sprung this on him? In any event, the proof is in the pudding and we will see in the Fall.
  7. That's cool. I wish I could have been there!
  8. I agree with most of what is said in this thread, although I am not so sure SP needed to absolutley consult TO before he got rid of Frank. I am not disputing what TO has done for the program or anything. That speaks for itself. However, he did retire from the game and he should not have a huge say in how the program is run now. If he wants that, he shouldn't have retired. Granted, I would have probably asked him for some advice if I was SP, but I wouldn't just do whatever he said because he is TO. Then he really isn't doing his job and just doing what he is told. He was hired to do a job and that's what he is doing. That's all I'll say about that because I would just end up diving into all that again I believe he had to say something because of his name being put on the new complex. As typical, there were a lot of rumors flying around and needed to be addressed. If that weren't an issue, I wouldn't have expected him to hold a press conference about what he thought. He would have done that a lot sooner if that was the case, but I think he knows that he isn't in direct control of the program anymore and respects that. He was in a position to pull his name and support from the new project and that was it. He explained his decision and why he made it based on the events of the last couple months and that's it.
  9. We need to use this guy more or else his talent is a extreme waste. Hopefully with the WCO that will happen.
  10. I agree with Eric, but for now I have to go with Ross. The good thing is that we have players that can battle for the job. The best among the group will play.
  11. No team needs the distraction of a d******d like that. I don't care how good he is. Besides that he isn't that great....
  12. I know people who go to school in Lincoln. This guy will show up to parties and just start sh#t. Throwing stuff around just cause he can, pissing everyone off.
  13. I am sick of this kid and really would like not to see him play. He is what I would call "JV".
  14. Well duh. Like anyone would admit that they did use sex as a recruiting tool!
  15. Looks like another successful year for Miami in recruiting!
  16. He is becoming more and more "bottom of the barrel", if you will. It will be a pleasure to beat the hell out of them this Fall.
  17. And people doubted me when I said Dailey would be a good fit.
  18. How can you hold a guy over the fire for knowing how to use his contacts well? Sounds like a bunch of BS to me.
  19. Yea, like CU is in a position to call anything unethical.
  20. People talk like he is going to cut the program totally. If the walk-on players are good enough, they will make the team. If they aren't, they won't. Instead of possibly like it is now where you just ride along with the team = dead weight.
