I believe this, I have seen Cory downtown during the football season getting wasted numerous times over the past few years....too many times to count in fact. This guy definitely thinks he is better than he really is, in my opinion. Not acting like a leader at all. Quite Sad

Lucky had 21 carries for 102 yards and 11 catches for 81... You can't possible hope to hang this performance on the offense. They quite obviously won the game...it certainly WASN'T the defense... 100 total yards of rushing is hardly enough....and we deffinitely didnt win this game....they gave it to us with the Bo Ruud pick which was real LUCKY.

I guess Im not saying our offense is bad but I dont think were good. When we face a team with good pass defense we could be completely shut down and not be able to score many points. Then our defense gets schooled all day and we get blown out......not what I wanna see.

I keep reading post after post stating that we should fire Coz because he cannot coach and our defense is terrible. Then I read other posts that say Cally should not be fired because the Offense is doing really well and we are recruiting well. Im just curious how people can think our offense is really playing well. When I watch the game I see an offense that cannot run the football (see 300+ rushing yards against Nevada and then a COMBO around 300 rushing yards the next 3 games), and an offensive line that doesnt protect the quarterback or run block. Then on defense I see a terrible defensive line and very OVERRATED linebackers. I guess what Im asking is how can people think our offense is playing well when we are completely one demensional. To me they are not much better than the defense and good opposing defenses will show that. Sorry for the rant, just wanna hear what everyone thinks.

Correct me if Im wrong but did we not run a trick play in EVERY game this season. Whether it was a fake punt, field goal, QB throwback, pitch pass, etc? I also might be wrong about this since Im a younger fan....but I NEVER remember running many if any trick plays in the pre callahan era. Instead, we lined up and played solid football. (Kinda like that 1st quarter) I think this shows that you dont believe you are as good as your opponent. Its pathetic, unnecessary, and must stop.

Sure sounds like DaveH knows what he's talking about If the reveivers weren't getting open or OU seemed to play good pass defense, how in the world can you consider that "doing what's open in a certain game"? It certainly doesnt justify 50 pass attempts (no games ever should IMO) And dont tell me Im one of those fans who complains when we dont pass the ball that we should have and vice versa. Im not one of those fans. I believe the run game sets up everything else and should ALWAYS be established first.

This is what decided the game..... 21 rushes for 84 yards (4 yards a carry, good average) 50 passes for 282 yards, 23 completions, 3 int's Time of possesion - OU 31:39 NU 28:21 The defense was getting exploited from the first snap of the game on the corners (ie Grixby sucks). Why not pound the rock and keep their offense off the field. Id be curious to see how many times we threw on first down and then how many of those were incomplete and forced us into long yardage situations. We could have and should have won the game. Oh well......see you in Dallas.

This is why I believe Pederson must go......the program will never be back where it was until he leaves. Ever since I was born a Nebraska fan, We have set the standard, We have raised the bar, and other teams compared themselves to US! when I download these clips and play them, they play super fast. I cant even hear what is being said, like its in fast forward. Anyone know what the problem might be?

Its tough being the best, everyone hates you and wants you to suffer. Especially a team in a state that supposedly has nothing besides football and farming. Im not saying were the best this year cause we clearly arent, but historically people have learned to love to hate us. thats the way its going to be now and forever.

Anyone think the skycam will be in effect again this weekend like at the Texas game? I highly doubt it since I think thats only for the big games, but it sure was cool having it and Id love to see it again.

I can see the Mizzou game next week being exactly like the Kstate game at home a few years ago. We could really get blown out. Then we go to A&M on the road, I really dont see us winning that game right now. We should win against CU but who knows, they always play us tough and if we loose the next 2 the team would be really down. I could totally see us loosing out, going to the toilet bowl, and loosing that as well. I hope Im wrong but it doesnt look good. This reconfirms my opinion that Callahan is not the man to bring us back to the promise land. He a decent coach but his play calling absolutly boggles my mind. One finally note: OUR SPECIAL TEAMS SUCK and OUR DEFENSIVE SECONDARY SUCKS

Is anyone else dissapointed with the way the media (especially ESPN) has been tilting the view of this game. They are giving us no respect whatsoever. Instead they are making it sound like Colt McCoy should be up for the Heisman. Also, they make it sound like we never really had a chance to win the game when we infact had it already won. I know Texas played good but it makes me sick to listen to everything. Anyways, I just wanted to hear everyone elses point of view on this.
