Since the discussion is shifting towards scheduling powder puffs for an easy win. Does the BCS formula still include quality wins (such as against top opponents). If it did wouldn't that make you actually give a crap about scheduling non conference opponents? Like in the upcoming years when we have UCLA and Va Tech.

Thats good to hear. Maybe this year we can at least handle a long drive by the other team. I would love to see us STOP one from even happening, but its good to know we are preparing for it just in case. Just hope this preping pays off.

There is no doubt that Stoops, and Brown have WAY more talent then Callahan. We all know that Callahan is terrible at making in game adjustments and changing game strategies. There is something to be said for the future. Even Mack Brown has said we are a team on the rise. Lets let the year play out and see how the rankings shape up. stoops has won the big one and he owns callahan. he has a ring and multiple big 12 titles. callahan can't hold his lunchbox. Ok if you will take a moment to read the whole post I am not comparing the man to Callahan. I am simply saying he has flaws like the rest of the coaches. But, if you want to get into what you have said about Callahan, if im not mistaken isn't Callahan 2-1 versus Mangino? I am a big Mangino fan but he hardly "owns" callahan and cosgrove. Prince has done alot as well. However when he would get a big win he would also get a big loss. Didn't he also lose to Callahan? So apparantely how good of a coach you are has to do with how you do against Callahan. Gotcha.

Correct me if Im wrong but Stoopes has gotten to the big game several times.....how often has he won them? Out of curiousity what is his bowl game record? Not saying Callahan is necessarily better but I would hold off on crowning Stoopes a "god" until he can win the big game (something Callahan can't do either) Yes he turns out prospects and gets results, but isn't most sucess measured by wins and losses? Seems like Callahans succes is.

I think switching Gundy and Pinkel is about the only change I would make. I agree with the bottom two. Prince and Chizik will be good coaches in the future, as with Gundy. Pinkel IMO is on the downslide in Mizzou. Im just not impressed with him.

I stopped in Norman to visit some friends on my way to the Cotton Bowl and I LOVE all the looks I got wearing Husker gear. Ive heard its a great place to watch games but arent the fans somewhat bandwagoners? I know every team has them but it seems like we always pack the stadium with 99% of the best in Husker Red. Thats just what ive heard, not stating fact, just asking.

Do you think it might happen eventually? It seems to me that if we want to keep this guy around we better give him more responsibility or he will bolt. Maybe they are going to ease him in. Just my opinion/hope.
