  1. from what i have heard we are actually behind notre dame right now.
  2. does anyone no if that's a summer visit or a gameday visit I don't see it as a gameday visit but maybe scout just doesn't have it up yet It's a gameday visit I believe, and he is coming with his teammate Tavarres Pressley(RB) who has Nebraska in the lead right now. Hopefully both prospects will commit on their visit.
  3. Honestly he should leave right now if he wants to. Wouldn't be that big of a loss with all the good offensive lineman we are in very well with. IMO, if and when Robinson leaves the Cornhuskers in the dust, his O-line spot will be taken within a week by another solid commit. Obviously you don't want to lose in-state guys that are this caliber of player, but with the way recruiting goes, I would pull his scholarship offer if I was Callahan and let another offensive lineman take his spot. But I'm no coach and Cally is one of the best recruiters in the country, so I let him make the decisions.
  4. you ever said castille would play fullback is an idiot. im sure when you looked on rivals you seen him listed as a FB and thought that is where he will play. Castille is definitely physical ready, but obviously he needs to learn the playbook, which takes time. he definitely wont be a feature back but he will see some time on the field.
  5. IMO he doesnt have a very good chance, not that hes not a good player, were just deep at that position right now. Not sure if he plays X or Y but Nunn, Swift, Peterson, Henry, Hardy, Erickson, and Purify (probably will be back) will provide alot of competition, but most of all Menelik Holt(6-4 215) who is a year younger, taller, stronger and faster than Brookes(6-2 210) and played over him last year....7 WR with considerable time(Henry does not).....sure anything is possible, but not likely. Brooks impressed me the most out of all the young receivers in the spring game. He had three catches against the red D. Meno looked passive as well as Henry, also Meno dropped a couple balls too. Meno also played last year because he wanted his mom to see him play, because she has a health issue and may not have the chance again to see him play.(the coaches wanted to RS him).
  6. so he's like a rent-a-recruiter haha exactly what he is.
  7. Illinois will bring in their great recruits and not fair so well the first years, then Zook will get fired and their new coach will get them to win some games. Similar situation to when he got canned at Florida.
  8. thanks for the info sounds like an impressive player who could be moving up the charts yes he definitely is moving up the coaching charts, expect a big year out of him and maybe a boost in the ratings as well.
  9. i'm pretty sure bowman will be #14 this year.
  10. this is why Mo is considered nfl caliber. most passing teams have a couple guys that snag about everything, no matter who throws it....we HAD one. those young guys better learn to catch, I can't stand how many dropped passes resulted in 4th down the last couple of years . in an offense which uses short quick passes to control a lot of the game we need a consistent set of hands. wonder what would have happened if 75% of the dropped passes were actually caught? Terrence Nunn would have been an All American. lol.that would probably be true.
  11. Not only a great looking player, an awesome guy too. He will bring the physical and mental ability to the table at Nebraska. I hope he earns a scholarship in the upcoming years.
  12. Supposedly this kid gave 5 star USC commit Matt Kalil a run for his money at a Nike combine in Cali. He is a solid prospect.
  13. thanks for backin a brother up oh no problem, i think u hit it on the head in your previous post above about AB and Kenny Demens.
  14. There is no chance A. Brown will sign with Nebraska. And Kenny Demens is a more prototypical LB than A. Brown, AB is undersized but is the most athletic LB I have seen. Demens film is nearly as good as A. Brown's, please go watch it at Rivals.com.
  15. He missed his entire junior season due to injury which may lead to his lack of offers. All or most of the offers came after his stellar combine numbers he has put up. Expect a big senior season from him and for him to jump up in the ratings.
  16. Pretty sure the IMO says its not from a realiable source...both Gray and Demens would be a huge packaged deal. A somewhat reliable source, I know for sure at least one will be N, but not 100% sure on all three will commit, but no doubt we are in great positions for all three of them to sign with us.
  17. IMO, Gray, Demens, and Compton are all silent commits and all 3 would be huge gets at need positions
  18. I would have him as a CB not a WR, regardless he is a solid looking prospect.
  19. i would guess mike lb due to his height. he is really only 5'11 unlike the original post where it lists him at 6'1.
  20. thats the rumor ive been hearing too
  21. This would be a huge get his film is comparable to A. Brown's.
  22. watch his film, he may not be a better prospect yet but that can always change. With that said Arthur is a great prospect, one of the best linebackers over the past few years coming out of high school. And Oklahoma will be his destination, it will just take time.
  23. totally agree, rivals has him right where he should be though, scout is way off.
  24. This kid is the best running back prospect in the nation right now(including 2008 prospects). He may end up being a better overall prospect than his brother(who I think is the best player of the 2008 class), but he is also most likely to follow his brother to Oklahoma(not commited yet but a big lean IMO).
  25. Right now, the Huskers are in the lead. Obviously with his five star status he would be a great get, but he also is at a need position, Base D-end.
