What in the world are you talking about it? Your interpretation of the law was incorrect making your argument incorrect. If its possible to "lose" in these arguments you certainly lost a few posts back. Also what does the "Jackass" comment have to do with anything. I like the guys optimism but looking at the DLine in 2010 scares me alot right now. We have alot of potential but not alot of proven success. Hopefully some new players really step up there game this year.

You really need to read between the lines on why this story can not be told. If it only affected Cody, news reporters would be lined up to tell the story, dontcha think? Heck, you think the guys at the KC Star would hesitate to bust us in a scandal that could be so easily told with Cody doing the crap he is now? You think folks haven't dug to find out the story? Quit being naive for a second. The only story here is the story people want to hear but cannot. It's a personal issue and sometimes people need to respect others privacy. Who's being naive Kay?

There is nothing fishy about it at all. And it's sad really, because people are going to question the University, when in reality, they are taking the high road even though they are getting abused publicly. And really, if it were something shady, someone would have been more than happy to bust this story by now. Especially since Cody made these comments about a big rules violation. If there was nothing fishy they'd admit what happened and be done with it. You don't keep secrets unless the secrets are worth keeping.

I certainly dont recall reading any story where Cody or anyone from the NU athletic department came out and said that Cody was suspended for Statuatory Rape. So until a lot of posters see facts showing Statuatory Rape as the reason for suspension, you are not going to be seeing anyone appoligizing to you. Nope because they are 100% true. The tickets thing was used by athletic department to divert attention away from what really happened. Come on do expect him to admit to statuary rape? He'd be put in jail. The only reason he was never charged in the first place is because athletic department and the booster dad kept things quite.
