This just announced: Lincoln (NE) After recent losses to Oklahoma State and Missouri the Nebraska Cornhuskers have taken dramatic action and fired head coach Bill Calahan and defensive coordinator Kevin Cosgrove. Replacing them will be Herby Husker as head coach and Lil' Red will take over the blackshirts.

How bout we put a few boxes outside memorial stadium for the "FIRE PEDERSON AND CALLAHAN FOUNDATION" and see how much money we can raise to buyout their contracts..worth a shot

Jeez guys calm down..I'm throwing some ideas out there, I dont know anything about the guy I just knew of North's success the past few years. I really just want some Nebraska guys to take over, who knows the tradition. Take her easy..don't be hatin.

Why not..Tom Osborne was a local boy who began his career helping Nebraska for free. A few years later he became head coach.

I don't even know the guys name..but I do know that Millard North at one time was tops in the country. Give him a try, at least he probably actually cares about Nebraska football.

You know I respect those guys.. I mean how do you keep yourself in line trying to broadcast a game like that. I would of either flipped out or simply left the booth.

In fact, I enjoyed Jim Rose just ripping on Nebraska..and at times he was speechless. Finally somebody tells it how it is.

This may sound bad guys, but the 2nd quarter of the game I was actually cheering for Oklahoma State to keep scoring..I mean I think its gonna take getting beat 100-0 for Pederson to finally realize that changes need to be made.

Ive been listening to the game on and off..obviously we aren't stopping them, but are we running tha 3-4 still or whats the deal. I think my intramural team could play better defense.

How sweet would this be....Ok, there is a home game at night and half way through the game the stadium goes pitch black...The sound system shakes the seats as the that great tunnel walk we have comes up on the screens..but instead of the players being in the plane, Osborne, Mcbride and other coaches parachute outta the plane followed by past players..there is a cute scene that goes to Frank Solich holding a M-16 smoking a cigar laughing while in the background you can see Pederson tied up...the coaches and players land onto the field while past highlights are played over the screens...the players go and grab callahan and osborne says to him as he is being drug away.."Were here to restore the order" HAHA, I can dream cant I

You know everyone is pointing fingers right now and it just seems like we have no heart..maybe nebraska should watch this video and get a little motivation.

Ok guys...so we allowed 600 yards, but regardless a win is a win...its obvious that we aren't the huskers of the past right now but keep in mind that we are fighting. This is the first year of the Callahan era that I actually believed in the Huskers coming back from 2 td's and winning the game. Even tho the game against Ball State seemed horrible to watch..not to mention in the stat book, you have to see the heart they showed. Deafened by boo's of over 80,000 fans they still manage to come back and win that game. Without a doubt I give it to Nebraska for finishing that game. Offense looked amazing, defense was beyond horrible, but heck..we got the W. Things went our way, take it as you wish..but before your great you have to have some bad games. I think were lucky that our bad games result in a W. Wont be hearin any BOO's from this huska
