  1. This doesn't appear to be his first rodeo. Randall Krause v. City of Omaha, No. 15-2985 (8th Cir. 2016) Court Description: Per Curiam - Before Benton, Bowman and Kelly, Circuit Judges] Civil case. Dismissal of complaint alleging violation of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act affirmed without comment. 2. Does anyway have an update on the sound system.. how does it sound?? pics??
  3. "According to Dan Apple, the assistant director of communications for Florida's football program who has compiled the data, at least one former Cornhusker has been on one of the teams in the big game for each of the past 20 years. That is the longest streak by any college in the country." http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/dish/201301/nebraska-has-longest-super-bowl-streak-far How bout that..
  4. Well, I could be wrong, but I believe it means an old, old wooden ship that was used during the civil war era.
  5. I did this last year with tmart.. pretty good stuff
  6. Weight on back foot, front shoulder open, lazy front arm... I am no QB coach, but those really seem like poor fundamentals, does anyone else hold their breath when taylor throws the ball There is probably another thread about this, so put it where need be mods
  7. "I want him to go to Nebraska. I want to take road trips to Nebraska. I want to wear Husker red and watch him play." Jill Starling Bubba's 15-year-old sister http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/eticket/story?id=6609946
  8. Heres a pretty rough sketchup(on paint) that I made on what I hope the stadium looks like in a few years. What do you guys think??
  9. Alright.. maybe this is asking too much, but I remember seeing a few pictures of what memorial stadium might or should look like. So I'm curious to see some cool designs of what you what you are expecting or would like to see added to memorial stadium. So let your creativity run wild!
  10. I second this topic.. We're driving over in an RV and we are looking for a hookup site for Friday night that is close to the stadium and their downtown scene. Or does anyone know if your allowed to camp at the stadium parking overnight.
  11. Its seemingly obvious we aren't as effective playing on our home turf especially on offense. When we're on offense you can literally hear a pin drop, something our offense doesn't have the luxury of on the road however we seem to play quite fine. Is this getting to their heads? Also, if our offense can effectively call out plays then so can the opposing defense. My solution be loud throughout the whole game.. BOOM
  12. So my question is.. what is the best Husker bar in town??
  13. To name a starter during preseason is very foolish in my mind. The way it sounds is that you don't have much experience with collegiate sports and how the mindset of these players works. This is isn't highschool football, players are constantly striving to get better and better and they won't stop until they gain that starting position. You may be right, "physically" someone probably has the tools to lead this team this season. The question is who wants it more and who is willing to push themselves and their talent every practice until they reach perfection and ultimately a starting position. What does naming a starter do for our team? In my opinion its harder on a player knowing they've lost the position battle even before the first game. Competition breads perfection and hardwork.
  14. We played Mike Stuntz in intramural football last year and we beat him, he threw a few picks I might add.. April Fools!
  15. There are obvious problems with our offense that we have all discussed however I have a small theory to consider. Is our defense so good that it is in turn hurting our offense? I have seen this through my years of sports and even in college and professional sports today. I believe our defense is so good that our offense does not bare the weight of this team. They depend entirely on our defense to put them inside the 50 yard line in order for them to score. This may sound funny, but do you think if our defense was only average would that improve the play of our offense? Grant it we would have more losses then we would, but would the added pressure of not relying on our defense every drive push our offense to take chances and make plays? I see it most often in baseball, pitchers with extremely low era's have the lowest run support in the rotation. I think our offense goes out there game in and game out knowing that our defense will be there to correct their mistakes takes off the pressure for them to score every drive. I know there are a hand full of problems that explain our struggling offense, but I really think this is a small issue.
  16. Haha.. you do realize that the TD pass you are thinking of was a 1 yard pass to a wide open receiver. Lee lacks the pocket presence to be effective right now and Green simply lacks experience. Zac Taylor would laugh if he heard Lee or Green complaining about our poor O-line, as your probably remember our O-line was terrible while Taylor was qb yet he manned up, took hits, and still made plays.
  17. Suh was in a minor accident however his blood alcohol level was at .035 well below the legal limit of .08 and he was not given a DUI. Link: http://www.1011now.com/news/headlines/68319132.html
  18. Haha wow get over the fact that you think ESPN doesn't like Nebraska. We have been a sub-par team for almost 10 years and you think we still deserve national attention and respect. If you don't like ESPN why even pay attention to them?? As husker fans we need to get over ourselves....
  19. I talked to the same football player in my class that told me Zac Lee was starting last week and he said Zac Lee would yet again get the nod vs. Baylor. Not very surprising to me considering Pelini praised Lee for his improved play.
  20. Pelini may not be an offense mastermind..but being one of the premier defensive coaches in country would make you think he has a little knowledge about what makes a successful offense, because suprisingly he most likely studies offensive film all day. Just a thought tho
  21. I talked to football player in my class today and he said Pelini is giving Lee the nod against Iowa State. I didn't ask, but im assuming he has the first half to get the offense going or they will probably go with Green in the second half...just my assumption tho.
