  1. That does not make them the best TEAM though. That makes them a team with great individuals. Big difference.
  2. I wouldn't believe a single thing emanating from any Rivals site at this point.
  3. Got any facts or stats to back up your statement? Nope. Keeeeeeeeeeeep trolling.
  4. 1995 Nebraska. Why? Because they were better. End of Thread.
  5. Pretty sure that the loss to OU in 2008 was by more than 1 point. I stopped watching that game after the first quarter, i was so ashamed. But yes it was more than 1 point and more than 6 in OT. ?While we did get our heads handed to us by OU, the OT loss to TT (31 - 37) was by 6 because their kicker missed the XP.
  6. I've been watching the URL pattern for each preview the last few days, and I was pretty sure what NU's would be once they got into the top 19 teams.
  7. Yeah I noticed that one. He ain't perfect (and covering 119 teams nobody will be), but he is pretty much the best.
  8. This isn't officially out yet (he has us ranked 5) as our preview date is June 12th. But what the heck, I found it, and my Mom always told me to share. Link to PDF file. "Despite a 6-2 reg ssn B12 record, NU was actually -12.3 ypg. Despite those factors they are the most talented team in the Big 12 North and 6 of my 9 sets of power ratings call for a 12-0 regular season."
  9. Some of you are on crack. I'd take Jerrod Johnson in a heartbeat, and he is easily on of the better QB's in the country. 2009 Big 12 QB stats Johnson's 2009 stats
  10. Whatever, I like learning as much as possible about all conference teams, and as many teams around the country as possible.
  11. 7-1 is only 8 games so it doesn't count the CCG. Correct. They are assuming 1 conference loss, and a loss in the Big 12 CCG to OU. So they're saying Nebraska loses to Texas, Oklahoma loses to Texas, and Texas gets upset by aTm and Mizzou? They don't list specific wins and losses, just a record for each team. From my reading, I'm guessing they have us losing to aTm during the regular season, and Texas losing to us and OU. OU's loss is probably a Stoops special to aTm or Missouri...

  13. They don't give specific wins and losses, only a record. I'm sure if someone had the time they could figure it out... Also, here's a link to the online preview page. http://www.athlonsports.com/college-football/19029/no-7-nebraska-cornhuskers Doing a bit of thinking, I'm guessing they have us losing to aTm, and Texas losing to us and OU. 15. You really don't need to convince yourself. Bama did it, and Nebraska's D was much better.
  16. I got mine in the mail because I had ordered it. I would imaging it will hit newsstands in the next 2 weeks.
  17. I got my magazine today, so here's a quick skim of some of the info. Nebraska Unit Rankings (Big 12) Quarterbacks - 9 Running Backs - 2 Receivers / TE - 10 Offensive Line - 3 Defensive Line - 2 Linebackers - 6 Defensive Backs - 2 Nebraska Unit Rankings (National) Running Backs - 6 Defensive Line - 6 Defensive Backs - 3 Big 12 Breakdown (Overall record in bold) North 1. Nebraska (#7) 11-2 (7-1) Orange Bowl vs Virginia Tech 2. Missouri (#21) 9-3 (5-3) Insight Bowl vs Michigan 3. Kansas 6-6 (4-4) Pinstripe Bowl vs Rutgers 4. Colorado 4-8 (2-6) 5. KSU 5-7 (2-6) 6. ISU 3-9 (1-7) South 1. OU (#5) 12-1 (7-1) Fiesta Bowl vs Pitt 2. Texas (#8) 10-2 (6-2) Cotton Bowl vs Arkansas 3. aTm 8-4 (5-3) Alamo Bowl vs Oregon 4. Texas Tech 8-4 (4-4) Holiday Bowl vs Oregon State 5. Oklahoma State 7-5 (3-5) Texas Bowl vs Northwestern 6. Baylor 5-7 (2-6) OU over NU in Big 12 CCG Long story short, if we get any improvement from our passing game, we should win the Big 12. They're taking a wait and see approach.
  18. It wasn't on the DVD. I don't know why.
  19. I finally got around to finishing this. It's composed from the DVD.
  20. They need to fire the guy who edited together the game video. The score kept getting screwed around, and we actually lost points.......
  21. That's what I was starting to think as I looked it over. BTW, this guy's site is awesome. I've been using it for a few years.
  22. Yeah I agree. Here's the BCS "competition" for that day. Clemson at Auburn (Probably CBS) Georgia Tech at North Carolina (Probably ESPN) Iowa at Arizona (Probably Evening ESPN2) You forgot Arkansas at Georgia and Florida/Tennessee (probably the 330 CBS game). SEC games aren't on ABC. They only are on ESPN or CBS, that's why I didn't include them. Also, Clemson at Auburn can probably be removed because it is @ Auburn, which means they are they host school so no ABC.
