  1. In depth analysis: North CU: 7-5 (Big win over NU) ISU: 3-9 (enough said) KU: 9-3 (Beat NU, TT) Fair analysis and certainly plausible KSU: 5-7 (Nothing strange here) MU: 10-2 (WTF? Only losing to Illinois and OSU. They will NOT beat Texas....) NU: 8-4 (Losses to VT, MU, KU, CU & big win over OU) Plausible, not probable South BU: 4-8 (Conference win over ISU) OU: 11-1 (Only loss @NU) OSU: 10-2 ( Only losses to Georgia and @ OU) Texas: 9-3( 3 straight losses to OU, MU, OSU) Don't see this happening aTm: 5-7 (Conference wins over ISU and BU) TT: 7-5 (3-5 in conference) In the North, there is no way in hell that Missouri goes 10-2. Sorry, ain't happening. They have almost zero chance of beating Texas, even at home, unless McCoy gets broken. Kansas at 9-3 can happen, only IF they find a defense. Nebraska at 8-4 is certainly a possibility. However, I'd be more inclined to believe NU wil take 2 of 3 from MU, KU, and CU to finish 9-3 ,versus beating Oklahoma this year. In the South, Okie Lite is certainly the sexy pick, but they have to learn to play defense first. Oklahoma will obviously need to have their new line gel quickly for an 11-1 record. Finally, Texas losing to OU, @ MU, and @ OSU? Won't happen. I see Texas winning by 3 TD+
  2. I got all excited, but it doesn't look like they do live sports on the iPhone. At least, not CFB games. Do you know what channel the games are normally on?
  3. I sure hope so. There's a play by play app, but from what I've heard, it lags way behind. Seriously, someone could make a KILLING if they licensed CFB broadcasts and made an app.
  4. The crappy part is, the iPhone doesn't support flash. However, all the radio broadcasters use flash for their audio streaming now. Also, I check, and 1110 isn't listed on the iPhone iheartradio app, but it is on the website. Suck.
  5. I can think of three. The Mackovika's (to pursue other sports) and Levorson, who didn't want to work. That's not that much....
  6. My wife and I are USF season ticket holders, and this year as an anniversary present, she got me an iPhone. Since some of the games overlap, I'm not always able to watch/listen to both. Now, there's not any "official" apps for listening to games, but I have seen iheartradio. Now, huskers.com lists Omaha - 1110 KFAB-AM as a broadcasting affiliate, and 1110 is supported by iheartradio. Is this my only/best option?

  8. Sam Bradford (Oklahoma), Ndamukong Suh (Nebraska) and Phil Taylor (Baylor) highlight the 2009 Preseason All-Big 12 Football Team, chosen by media representatives who cover the Conference. Bradford was named Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and selected the preseason squad’s quarterback. The 2008 Heisman Trophy winner was Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year last season and earned All-Big 12 First Team honors. Bradford was also a consensus All-America while winning the Davey O’Brien and Sammy Baugh awards. Suh garnered honors as Preseason Defensive Player of the Year and as a defensive linemen on the preseason team. He was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team a year ago after leading the Conference linemen with 76 tackles. Full list here: http://www.big12sports.com/ViewArticle.dbm...TCLID=204763500
  9. We haven't beaten a top twenty team since 2001. It would totally be appropriate, and deserved.
  10. Nebraska was predicted to win the North division while Oklahoma and Texas tied for the top spot in the South in the 2009 Big 12 Football Preseason Poll, voted on by media representatives who cover the Conference. 2009 Big 12 Football Media Preseason Poll North Division 1. Nebraska (17) 172 2. Kansas (12) 164 3. Missouri (3) 124 4. Colorado 100 5. Kansas State 81 6. Iowa State 33 South Division 1. Texas (17) 174 1. Oklahoma (15) 174 3. Oklahoma State 130 4. 11. I hope he does. That bastard wouldn't have a leg to stand on, since the community stuff is free/opensource. Go get a job...
  12. I'll second this. The gamertag to enter is "Epic BBQ" and these are phenomenal compared to any of the others. He should be done in the next day or so.
  13. The stupid state of Florida. Also known as heaven apparently, because Teblow lives here.
  14. On the fixed rosters, impact players are Thenarse, Suh, and Helu.
  15. He visited his family, that is all....... geez......
  16. The fake "Timeout" against CU in '06 was a beauty. (At the 3:00 mark) 8cMNPUDg8UQ Although he gets bashed, one thing Bill Callahan knew, was the perfect time for some trickery.
  17. 11-2 and a fumble away from playing in our 4th straight NC.
  18. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they use the same audio feed for the PPV games and the radio??? Isn't it Greg Sharpe and Matt Davison?
  19. The University of Nebraska and FOX Sports Midwest have announced that Nebraska’s three non-conference home football games will be available on a pay-per-view basis on Big 12 Special Order Sports, the network’s pay-per-view division. The two parties also announced the continuation of the school’s men’s and women’s basketball television package with the network for the 2009-10 season. Nebraska’s home football games against Florida Atlantic (Sept. 5), Arkansas State (Sept. 12) and Louisiana-Lafayette (Sept. 26) will all be available on a pay-per-view basis. FSN will produce the pay-per-view telecasts and the games will be available on participating cable systems in Nebraska as well as nationally on participating satellite and telco systems. Full details regarding the telecasts will be available in the coming weeks. Game times for the three contests have also been set. The season opener against Florida Atlantic will kick off at 6 p.m. under the Memorial Stadium lights. The contest will mark the fourth time in the past six seasons Nebraska has opened the season with a home night game, and the 13th time in program history NU has opened the season under the lights. The following week Nebraska will take on Arkansas State in a 1 p.m. contest. Following a trip to Virginia Tech on Sept. 19, Nebraska returns home on Sept. 26 to face La.-Lafayette in a 6 p.m. contest. The game will be Homecoming on the UNL campus and will also mark the Huskers’ 300th consecutive sellout at Memorial Stadium. The three non-conference home games are being televised on a pay-per-view basis because they were not selected for over-the-air broadcast or cable television coverage. In addition to the three pay-per-view contests, Nebraska previously had three games selected to be telecast on ABC and ESPN. The Virginia Tech contest will be televised on ABC with a 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff from Blacksburg, Va. NU’s Big 12 opener at Missouri will be an 8 p.m. kickoff on ESPN on Thursday, Oct. 8, and the regular-season finale against Colorado will be televised nationally by ABC with a 2:30 p.m. CT kick. Game times and television information for the remainder of the Huskers’ games will be announced six to 12 days in advance of kickoff. http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?&a...p;DB_OEM_ID=100
