  1. Yeah, thanx for the great info LSU2600!!!
  2. If the numbers I had on him are accurate, that would be great! We could always use some good size and speed.
  3. Here this link is the link I origanally posted that didn't work. It will show you his formula. Hopefully it will work this time. http://www.cae.wisc.edu/~dwilson/rsfc/rate...e/berryman.html
  4. I have heard talk on a couple other boards that we have a new signee, John Vigers, can anyone verify this? Here is some info on him: Ht: 6-3 Wt: 190 40: 4.4 Position: FS, WR Projected as: S, WR Position Rank: NR Class: 2004 Senior High School: Tara HS (Baton Rouge, LA)
  5. That link didn't work, but this link will take you straight to the top 100, hopefully!! http://www.cae.wisc.edu/~dwilson/rsfc/rate...e/berryman2.txt
  6. I have some interesting data. It is a mathmatical point system that ranks the top one hundred college football teams since 1940. It is made by some guy with way too much time on his hands. The whole page talks about his mathmatical system, but way down at the bottom of the page are links to the top 100 teams of all time and the top 10 teams per decade and etc. Here is the link: http://www.cae.wisc.edu/~dwilson/rs...e/berryman.html

  8. Interesting. Thanx for the info era.
  9. Yeah I thought I had heard that one of the contestants was a Nebraska fan. Thanks for the info. And your right, if it is based on viewer voting, WERE GONNA HAVE TO GET THIS GUYS SOME VOTES!!!
  10. I borrowed it. I wish I could design things like that!!
  11. If it was 1995 I would have expected to have a couple huskers on that list, but right now I think it is pretty exciting that we even have one! BTW, I have heard numorous times that tight ends fit in great in the WCO!
  12. Brandon Jackson has the potential! Callahan also comments on a few other recruits: http://www.theindependent.com/stori...allahan11.shtml
  13. from nfl.com & Gill Brandt: "Over the past 10 years, 68 players have been drafted from Tennessee, the most of any school, followed by Florida State (64), Nebraska and Ohio State (57 each), Florida (56), Miami (53), Colorado (52) and Notre Dame (52). " "Southern Cal has had the most first-round draft picks in NFL history with 61. Notre Dame is second with 57." "Since 1995, no fullback has been drafted in the first round." "The University of Texas has had a player selected in an NFL-record 66 consecutive drafts. No Longhorns were selected in the first two drafts (1936-37)." Link: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/7073697
  14. Another possible stud prospect: Junior To Watch: Ryan Perrilloux by Mike Matya Reserve, Louisiana dual-threat quarterback Ryan Perrilloux is this year’s Vincent Young. Ordinarily, Nebraska wouldn’t have received a look from this Rivals.com Junior All-American, but he is very familiar with Coach Callahan and is willing to give the new Husker program and offense a chance.
  15. Nice point! It does give you something to ponder.
  16. I just wanted to know who you guys thought would be our starting RB next year?
  17. I am a little disappointed about who we are playing, but at least it is somebody!!
  18. You bet! That is why I am a Fanatic!
  19. A preview: Offensive Coordinator Jay Norvell If it is true that Oakland has hired a new Tight Ends coach, then presumably the release of Jay Norvell is coming... Callahan: "He has the abilitiy to coach at a very high level [indianapolis and Oakland]. He has a lot of knowledge. He has a depth of the game that I think is unparalleled to a lot of coaches out there in professional football as well as college football." Age: 39 NFL Experience: 7 yrs --As a player: 1 yr (Chicago Bears) --As a coach: 6 yrs (Indianapolis & Oakland) History as a Coach: 11 yrs college; 6 yrs NFL --1986: Northern Iowa Grad Assistant. --1988: Northern Iowa assistant --1989-94: Wisconsin: WR and Special Teams --1995-97: Iowa State: Assistant Head Coach; QB & receivers. --1998-01: Indianapolis Colts: Wide Receivers. --2002-03: Oakland Radiers: Tight Ends. As a player: All-Big 10... --1982-85: Iowa: All-Big 10 Defensive Back; led league in interceptions. --1987: Chicago Bears. Let's hope this all comes together.
  20. http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/7073223 Now the link should work.
  21. Here is a great article about NFL players' reactions to the whole thing:http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/7073223 I seem to recall NBA players saying similar stuff to what the NFLers are saying, about how 18-year-olds aren't physically, mentally or emotionally ready for the pros and so on. This time, I think it's right. Football is uniquely demanding, at least physically, and I'm afraid that if Clarett ever even makes it, he'll get broken in half. Joe Namath once said of the NFL, "It ain't a league of angels." Beyond the usual bloodlust, there will be guys out there to kill any teenager who thinks they can cut it. Clarett is not the phenom that it will take. IMO, the only guy who would have been close is Vick, and he's injury-prone anyway.
  22. On PTI... They said that Adrian Peterson thinks he could go pro right now instead of playing college football and if some team offers him 5 million dollars he would "think" about going pro. Who the hell does he think he is???
